Let me start by saying this happened about a month ago, I have been compiling my thoughts to write this post.
So me and my friend (we'll just call him "S") bought 8 grams of dried Psilocybin Cubensis. Both me and S had tripped before and we couldn't wait for our next experience. We got the fungi on Wednesday and planned to trip Friday night. We stocked up on our supplies: half ounce of some sticky icky, sage, incense, and crystals. So the time came and we got to my house at around 7pm. We decided to eat them whole so we got big glasses of OJ to chase them down. We ingested 4 grams each. About a half hour later we were feeling slight effects, like colours being more vibrant, my body felt heavy. We rolled a sizeable joint and toked. And man when I say this blasted us off, we really blasted off.
Everything began to look almost 4D. We went inside and laid on my couch. Everything started to breathe and sway, and just look so alive. The carpet was rolling like a wave was under it, and my wood grain wall looked as if it were those falling numbers in the Matrix. Sound was distorted, well in a way, but music was very crisp, and almost sounded like it had 2 layers.
We decided it was a good time to put on some jams, we put on Anthem Of The Sun, by the phenomenal, Grateful Dead. Each note took you away as Jerry and Bobby took turns melting your face off with their guitar skills. It was, blissful.
I was approaching the peak, and the album was almost half way over and we decided to listen to the rest later. We put on the movie Pink Floyd: The Wall, which I have on Blu-Ray (so it's visually stunning without mushies grinding through your gut). So the song Goodbye Blue Sky came on, in the movie a dove explodes into blood. As this song came on, I began to visualize men without faces, blended into the background like chameleons (camoflagued) staring at me. I was stuck to the couch and more and more of these mystery men blending into my surroundings started to stare at me. It was surreal and almost frightening, but i blame this on the tone of the song (for those who haven't listened: gloomy, sad). The next song came on and these mystery men, vanished.
This is kind of a funny part, so me and S were on cloud 9, peaking and my grandma (who lives with me) came in to say goodnight to us and ask if we wanted food or anything. Which we could only reply with "duhhhh ok". So I was seeing her as a little gnome or midget, her nose was big and round like a clowns, and her hair resembled Gerald's from Hey Arnold. Meanwhile the walls were moving in and out. She said we didn't look right and we were "bug eyed" but somehow we talked our way out of it and she left us alone.
I feel I must mention that through the night we were smoking a lot of the ganja, so that could be why we were tripping so hard, and 4 grams is a good dose.
So The Wall was over, it was spectacular even though I've seen it a million times (once on cid, but that's for another time). We were still heavily tripping but not as crazy as when the movie started. So the peak was on its way down.
Throughout the night, me and S kept telling each other we were hungry but we opened the fridge, looked to each other for a moment and said, I'm not hungry. And we did this atlesst 5 times.
We put on The Other One, a Grateful Dead and Bobby Weir documentary, with some trippy visuals along the way. By the time the movie was over we were coming down. And we decided to pack some bong rips to aid in the comedown process (we dosed around 7:30, this is now like 12 or so).
We put on the rest of the GD album and just chilled, we were stoned so that helped with the speedy feeling of the comedown. The rest of the night was just smoking weed until we fell asleep.
The next day we both felt very energized. Although this was not the guiding, enlightening trip I had hoped for, I was still fun as ever. Sometimes you get deep trips, sometimes you get fun and whacky trips, depends on the strain, set, and setting for me.
Thanks for reading, any input is appreciated. Peace.
