First Time grow - In Vitro Pinning before complete colonization. W/ Pictures.

So, this is my first time grow, and, to be frank, I am super excited. However, I did run into an issue. One of my jars has completely colonized and I see a pin in it, should I birth it now? Even though this is only its second day of consolidation?
Secondly, the jar that I have the biggest issue with, has a cluster of 3 pins but it hasn't completely colonized. Do I leave it for another day or two, or do I birth it as well? If so, what do I do with the spot that hasn't colonized yet?
I think that the in vitro pinning was caused by me flipping over the jars to jump-start the stalled mycelium at the bottom. Too much FAE?

Some strains have more a tendency to in vitro than others. Do you want to birth them all at the same time?
What you can do is to put the jar in the fridge. This will halt the mycelium from growing.
If I were you I will wait another day or two for the uncolonized spot and see what happens. The chances are just too big that the cake will contam when exposing the uncolonized spot.

I thought as much. I reckon I would just leave it for another two days since I want to birth those two at the same time.
However, if it hasn't completed its consolidation period, won't that affect the performance and yield?

Sorry man. I can't tell you much about PF tek. I've only done monotubs. With monotubs you don't need to wait for consolidation. You can spawn after 100% colonization.

Thanks for the reply. Even though it is pinning, it still seems to be colonizing that spot. Will be ready for birthing tomorrow.
Fucking exciting stuff man.

Just and update for any future answer seekers. I left it for 2 days, it continued to colonize and pin like crazy. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures but I counted 4 large ones and 16 small ones this morning when I dunked. I rinsed very carefully, making sure to not disturb the pins, then I dunked. I submerged the cakes with a plate and ensured that they were positioned right side up so that the pressure was on the top and the bottom instead of the sides. Don't want to be losing my first flush.
In addition to this, I did not roll it conventionally either. Instead of doing a full roll, I only placed vermiculite on the top and the bottom. I'll dunk again and roll proper after my first flush.
Good luck!
P.s. The two tiny pins that I did damage, I removed and ate. Don't want them aborting and rotting. Tasted fair good as well. Very mushy.
