I Think we need a better shot. Like this for Identification Spore print color (if you have time)
III. Tips for those new to mushroom hunting
There are plenty of things that someone new to the hobby needs to know before even *considering* eating a mushroom. Here are some important tips for those new to the hobby:
- Do not eat any mushroom without identifying it first! You could die of mushroom poisoning or become so sick that you'd wish you were dead.
- Make a spore print by cutting the cap from the stem and placing a cap on a sheet of aluminum foil. A light dusting of spores should drop in an hour or two. It is preferable to let the mushroom sit and release spores for up to 24 hours or 34 hours in order to leave a good thick print
-------------------- Before assuming that any wild mushroom is edible, it should be identified. Accurate determination and proper identification of a species is the only safe way to ensure edibility, and the only safeguard against possible accident. Some mushrooms that are edible for most people can cause allergic reactions in some individuals, and old or improperly stored specimens can cause food poisoning

It's not for etiquette, it's for giving us enough info. That one is likely a Marasmiaceae sp. Best thing is take a few shots in the field, don't pick a ton of specimens, and learn here what to look out for by giving us your best field shots and other observations.

Neither is magic. The Mycena are not for eating. Generally play it safe, so the other one might be Marasmius oreades, especially if it was in a cluster or a ring or a ring of clusters in grass, but because of the floccose stipe apex seeming a bit unusual and lacking other information I am not able to call it edible for now.
