Silicone advice

Hey guys, I just bought silicone which I'm planning to use with tyvek to make AE port and also inoculation ports for jars, I have 3 things that I need your advice on.. so.. 1) the silicone is temp-resistant up to 120 C - is this enough for PCing? (I found the temp in PC at 15 psi should be around 121 C) 2) the silicone is clear, but acidic (smells like vinegar) is this ok after curing? 3) the silicone has biocide addition (it is usually used in bathroom applications) so do you guys think this might "leak" into the jar? or will it have the biocide effect only upon contact?
Thanks for any help on those questions!

keep tyvek on the house and use sfd's.
Silicone is going to be fine for your desired application.
IME knocking with syringes even after making a clean LI is harder than just opening the lid.

Well I want to use them for 2 purposes - honey-water live myc for inoculating rye quart jars. It's hard to get SFD's in my country though, do you think tyvek will suffice and will be reusable? (I will use glovebox for inoculation) And one last question.. I ordered spore-syringe from the web and I don't want to flame the needle inside of the glovebox but sterile needles are quite cheap here so I'm thinking about bringing the sterilised needles inside the glovebox and just switch the needle instead of flaming it.. do you think this operation of switching the needle is riskier than flaming it outside and bringing it inside the glovebox each time?

learn agar. Don't squirt spores into honey water It will work 25% of the time.

Use kitchen and bath 100% silicone. The gasket stuff is the opposite of what you want it dries too hard and your needles clog easier.
Any 100% silicone works. Etc means rolm temperature vulcanizing. Any 100% silicone that smells like vinegar is RTV.
Kitchen and bath is cheaper and works better.
Inject spores into honey water is a great way to waste spores

sorry I thought you meant the LC. The silicon SHIP, meh what ever. Who even uses that shit? Any silicon will do if you're trying to get a filter on.

What brand is this? I never saw a silicone with such a low temp rating. Maybe its a typo.

Yes fine, this would be an acetic/acetoxy curing silicone, so smells of vinegar (acetic acid)

I have used foodgrade silicone which had antifungal properties. I never had an issue with it.
