What's the one thing you always order on a menu when you see it?

I'm up late watching cooking shows on YouTube, and it made me think about how there's that one dish I always order on a menu whenever I see it.
For me it'd have to be carpaccio, or beef tartare. Whenever I see it, I always get it. Every time I go some place new, if I see this on the menu, I'm always ordering it.
What about you guys? Are you guys the type to try something different every time, or is there the one thing you always order whenever you see it on a menu somewhere?

Nothing specific really fits that description, though when I go out to eat at a new place I tend to always go for the seafood. Fried crawfish, fried shrimp, whatever fish isn't catfish or tilapia (don't have a problem with either of them really, but there are always better options at restaurants) etc.
For the main dish if I'm not gonna get a steak or something "fancy" I'd probably never cook at home, I usually just get chicken fried steak.

Empanadas and bunuelos, specifically Colombian empanadas
If they sell it, that's what I'm ordering, maybe something in addition

Always order a coffee...If the coffee sucks at a place its a good impression on what the rest of the menu is like. If you cant get coffee right then you might as well quit.

Grilled Salmon and grilled veggies, Tea, eggs benny, grilled chicken breast w/bbq, monteray style, chick fried chick (rarely eat fried food these days) or just seasoned, cuban sandwich, home made fries, sauteed spinach, ribeye, loaded baked pot, spin casserole, green beans, corn, ceaser salad, salad, queso, chips and salsa, fried cheese, jalapeno poppers, corn fritters, fried catfish, grilled tilapia, fried tilapia, almost any grilled fish, crab legs, filet, spin arty dip, cheese enchiladas, spin enchiladas, shrimp enchiladas, spin/shrimp enchiladas, beef enchiladas, tacos, fish tacos, grilled chik salad, grill chik ceaser salad, I miss true tex-mex soooooo much!
OOps, just noticed it was one thing, lol.

Same, I tend to usually order seafood whenever I see it. Unless the place I'm dining at is not serving quality freshness, like if I'm at a diner or something, and I know the seafood is going to be all frozen and undesirable. Then I stay away.
Less commonly, I'll occasionally order some less common meats like lamb chops or rabbit or duck or quail or whatever. I don't understand why people go to restaurants and order pasta or something. It literally costs the restaurant not even 50 cents to make.
You should never order salad or pasta at a restaurant if you want to get value out of your dollar, since you're basically getting ripped off.
Unless it's a specific type of pasta that you can't acquire or easily make, like pad see ew or udon, or if the pasta is hand-made from scratch. But some basic shit like spaghetti with tomato sauce? Or salad with iceberg lettuce and ranch sauce? Total rip off.
Never ever order the edamame either at a Japanese restaurant. They always just use frozen edamame and some places don't even steam it properly, they simply microwave it and then salt it. Ordering edamame is the biggest rip-off.
The best items to order from a menu at a restaurant, in terms of value of your money, is fish or veal or certain cuts of meat.
Same reason I never understood why people go to a buffet and load up on shit like French fries and pancakes... that shit is dirt cheap! You catch me at a buffet, and I'm over grabbing all the crawfish, oysters, and crab legs.

That's so oddly specific, I can't imagine you come across too many restaurants that serve a fried chicken burger with egg on top. Is that like a regional thing to do that?
Now that you mention it though, whenever I go to fast food burger places I usually get the crispy chicken sandwich. I don't usually get the burgers.

Royal Poutine
Reuben Sandwich
or anytime I see a kind of stir fry that isn't just the same old. I had a fantastic Kung Pao chicken with peanuts and spicy peppers in some place in Boston a few years back, Singapore noodles without the fish sauce (allergy ) is amazing!
I have been known to order a grilled ham and cheese alongside my normal meal sometimes just because its comfort food.

For me my biggest comfort foods are: -Fried chicken -Pad see ew -Nabeyaki udon -Chicken pot pie -Tacos -Americanized Chinese food. I love greasy American Chinese food... not orange chicken though, that stuff is atrocious. WAY too sweet.
