Digital timers...

Most cheapo digital timers have up to 20 on/off settings.
I've never owned one so I can't determine whether that is enough "programmability" or not for an ultrasonic in a martha-type GH.
I'm predicting it will need to be on for about 15min per hour. Sooooo....
On/off cycles:
Monday:
1. ON - 6:00 - 6:15 (24 hour cycle start) OFF - 6:15 - 7:00
2. ON - 7:00 - 7:15 OFF - 7:15 - 8:00
...
24. ON - 5:00 - 5:15 OFF - 5:15 - 6:00 (24 hour cycle complete)
Et cetera, you need 24 cycles for monday alone, let alone all the other days in the week. Am I correct in thinking that one needs a 7x24 (168) setting timer for this? Or am I misinterpreting how on/off cycles are counted?
Thanks

google recycling timers, grasshopper. there's models starting around $40-60 on ebay. for $150-200 you can get yourself a nice little greenhouse/hydroponics controller.

I bought something like this for a different application that runs 1min every 30mins. Been working great for over a year, in fact it controls a 3ph 100A relay so lots of electrical noise. Less than $5. In fact a box for it cost more!
Edit sorry wrong item This one

If your looking for a cycle timer that will last. I use this one Titan Controlls
If you are looking for one thay will turn on when the temp hits a certain point look into greenhouse fan controllers like this one:
Fan controller
You can also do the same thing with a greenhouse humidity controller. However they can get pricey.

Thanks for the advice.
But it appears I was mistaken. The store guy said those 20 settings are limited to a period of 24 hours.
I thought it was weekly, so if I used up all 20 settings for monday, I'd have none left for tuesday, for example. But he assures me that I can program up to 20 for each day. Which means that such a device is quite sufficient for this type of job, no (yet far from ideal, of course)?
Those cycle timers y'all recommended are a wee bit more expensive. They probably last longer and are more accurate, and compared to analog timers, allow for shorter intervals.

45 minutes off at a time is an eternity for high FAE species. A cheap 15-minute interval, analog rotary timer would be better IMO.
