Growing cubes with thc in the substrate?

I was just wondering if anyone has done this or heard of it being done?
I'm thinkin of growing in some jars that previously had some flower in em, and the walls are still sticky.
Do you think the myc with pick up the thc and the fruit will have thc properties?

I'd wash them before using them, and no they won't have "thc properties"

If you inject wax into the fruit bodies then youd have something going on but - prolly better save you wax/bud for smoking while youre tripping. Swim has tried all sorts of strange techniques.

Melt chocolate. Put wax into chocolate. Mix. Put ground mushrooms into chocolate. Mix. Pour into molds.
You are welcome.

if you grow your cannabis in sterile conditions yes it would be possible and completely aligned with the soil food web which relies on fungi to stay healthy.
However it wouldn't be in the best interest of both plants and that's why we grow them in completely different ways. One with more humidity in the soil, and one with constant fresh air flow and HEAVY fan.

You don't need to have mushrooms in sterile conditions. They grow outside in the wild for heaven's sake lol. Many people have grown weed and mushrooms in the same pot, but what he's asking about is putting thc in the substrate.

I'm not saying it's necessary for sterile conditions. I'm saying that cannabis likes conditions that are different from mushrooms therefor being as clean as possible is necessary. Just as it would be necessary growing them apart.
As far as THC in substrate goes- just no. We know what cannabis compounds do for us, and we know the best form of intake is concentrated.

The amount of airflow needed for well lit indoor grows for example would dry the top substrate out way too frequently. That's all I was getting at. The little details that make it all too much work.

I gotcha. Yeah that is a possibility, with a thick casing layer tho, it shouldn't be drying out too much. I've had a few outdoor grows of both cubes and cannabis, and they were done in the exact same location too. Just different years lol. Maybe next year I should put them together :P

I considered this myself once, and from what I was reading, the thc molecule is too large to be carried by the mycelium. It's been a couple of years since I read that, so there may have been somw breakthrough since. I just smoke my thc and eat my shrooms seperate tho.

It's just a thought really. I was thinking what would happen if someone mixed hash powder into a brf tek.
This isn't my first grow so its not the end of the world if it contaminates on me. Just an experiment gone wrong :P

People have grown mushrooms on trim. It's a pretty good substrate. Doesn't mean you get thc when you eat them though

i would think that putting thc in your substrate would be about as effective as fertilizing your ganja plants with psilocybin.

plants are more "vascular" so actually the idea is less hair-brained than trying to add THC mushroom's substrate.
