Found about 50 of the in a hill next to some tall pins and a very shallow creek. Going to get a spore print now.

  * Habitat What kind of trees were nearby?  What was it growing from?  found in tall grass field on a hill by a shallow creek near pine trees
    * Location Where in the world was it?Piedmont region of Virginia
    * Gills What do they look like?  Always try to take photos that show the gills of both young and mature mushrooms.  still learning to understand gills formation photo attached
    * Stem Carefully dig it out of the ground so you can get a picture of the whole thing.stem about 1 in long
    * Spore print color (if you have time)in progress
    * Scent of the mushroom.earthy but kinda sweet too... Might just be from grass it's found in
    * Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged.blue as seen on stem in photo
    * Anything else you might find importantfound about 50 of these in a patch

I'm reading the that the difference between paradoxus and indigo is distinguished once viewed from under the cap but not finding a specific reference comparison. Can you elaborate how you can tell them apart please? Thanks.
