Tips for finding wood lovers?

Okay, so I live in a suburban area of south Florida. There is a pretty densely wooded area in my neighborhood with a lot of leaves on the ground dead trees etc. I just went through ALOT of it and didn't find a single mushroom. I'm hunting for gyms psilocybe cyanescens azurescens and what not. I have other shrooms that grow on wood scattered around my neighborhood, but I don't believe they are active. Here's an example

-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

I second that. I think they are west coast mushrooms.

If you live in Florida you won't be finding any psilocybe cyanescens or azurescens. I'm not quite sure if any woodlovers grow in Florida, they're cold weather species. I think psilocybin cubensis is your best bet

Well that is quite dissappointing I just wasted an hour and a half and a lot of mosquito bites. Oh well I'll just stick to the cow patties than

Yeah I actually hardly find any cubensis. Mostly panaleous I find boat loads of non active antillarum. But wherever I find those I find pan cyanescens growing in the Same patty or very close nearby.

I think so too, more potent as well. ate 5 small fresh ones yesterday with swishing them and lemon juice around probably didn't do anything since i didnt let it soak but that was more intense than eating a bunch of massive cubes. noting again cubes though.
