Monotub timing - about how long to colonize with my setup?

Hello. Just curious as to when you think my monotub will be ready to be exposed to light.
I used rye grain spawn bags and waited until they were fully colonized.
I then used two bags of spawn in 5 lbs of composted horse poo/straw.
My room stays about 77 degrees f. The monotubs get excellent gas exhange. Within 5 days, the surface of the poo mix was completely covered.
I am guessting about 2 to three weeks. What say you, Shroomery friends?

It should be exposed to light from day one. Colonizing in darkness is totally outdated.

So your suggestion is to give them light now?

It is cool that they can survive in darkness but can't fruit right. Light them up. They made albinos by giving them only blacklight.

That is mostly a corrolative assumption and was never causaly proven. It's possible for an albino to pop up naturally. Given how much pf was selfing, mutations were bound to occur.

A lot of those old hands of mushrooms said a lot of bullshit. Look at Paul staments for instance
I call shenanigans on the blacklight albino thing too

Either way, Its been about two weeks so I lit up a monotub. The myco network is fleshy and monstrous. I hope to see some little pins soon. Thanks for the advice all.
