Have you ever met someone who seemed far more self-aware/evolved than anyone you've ever met?

I met this strange dude a while back who I can't get out of my mind. It was like he was in a constant state of deep meditative absorption. Words can't describe the feeling I got from this person. The subtle stuff he picked up on about me scared the shit out of me. I thought he was reading my mind. And he fucking knew my first name, which I never told him. I go by middle name. He almost seemed like an alien or something. He said there were 3 entities following me and that theu wanted to illuminate me, but that I wasn't ready.
Have you ever met someone like this? Someone who seemed freakishly sentient?

Some of us are human and some are merely demented.
The demented ones make good internet friends... the human ones you should keep close. So you can see them for the person they are on a regular basis.

Maybe you're projecting? Maybe I'm projecting.
Either way, this circumstance = wow. And your friend you met was in touch with what society is deeming to suppress, seemingly deliberately.
No need for total alarm but,
WE ARE IN A STATE OF TOTAL SLAVERY. This is pretty much 1984 right now. Some sick motherfuckers are in charge of this world.

There are many different forces which will help you through consciousness expansion, into the broader reality.
First and foremost you need to establish Turiya, at least most of the time.
Then you will find things, as Turiya lifts you up, slotting into place for you.
Life is a LIVING mystery, a LIVING mystery.
To jump into the mystery and behold the wonder requires self-reliance, also does Turiya.
That means total abandonment of society, and relying on yourself to play the game where necessary.
Otherwise you should be totally amidst different realities and paths all the time.
This is of course total insanity but why do you think the mental health system sucks so much?
Why they ban psychedelics?
Schizophrenia and psychedelics will take you out of your conditioning into places of immense wonder, joy and power.
This is how we evolve - we evolve our ideas. That's how we got big brains.
Open up to the chaos.
Culture, all culture, is a conspiracy to suppress humanity.
Strange times, but ripe for revolution.

I know someone just like you describe OP. Only human I've ever met that matches your description, I was pretty terrified by his ability to see straight through me the first time we met but I've known him ~8 years now so I've kinda gotten used to it.

No, I have not met someone more evolved/self-aware.
I don't say this to be arrogant at all, but I find the majority of people I encounter, as being so caught up with meaningless stuff, it's rather disturbing. It actually makes my heart heavy, and I have to remember to have patients, and to not let my emotions overcome me and be dragged down by their negativity.
Sometimes I will be sitting there and listening to someone getting all bent out of shape about some trivial matter, and it's not that just because the thing they worry about doesn't matter to me, then it shouldn't matter to them, it's not like that at all, it's just I hate seeing people beat themselves up, or worry, when the answer is right in front of them, they just have to be willing to change a few things about how they're approaching certain issues in their lives, but are usually to stubborn to do so, so this creates a cycle of negative emotions within their lives which they might never break free from.
This is why I believe psychedelics are so important in peoples lives, they hit you with a sledgehammer of truth which shows you how your negative actions are causing others harm, and demands you change them, they don't ask nicely, they yell it in your ear.

I gave a ride to this homeless dude once, he was in his 60's? and talked to whole way to the next town (about 45 minutes) about awareness and living in a state of constant transition and his choice to live on the road since the late 60's (no big surprise). This guy though, I think about him every once in awhile, his attitude about people that would openly ridicule and judge him was simply awesome. He was genuinely the nicest, most open minded, grounded, person I've ever met. By far. I ended up sitting around the bus station and smoked a couple cigarettes with this dude and he bought me a coffee and shit. That afternoon will always stick out in my mind, I felt like the worlds intrigue had a hot spot for this guy, and a level of mystery was afforded to myself just by association. Seriously it felt kind of magical and surreal.
