Suspected contamination of jars

I havent seen much progress in these jars in a couple days. Ive been waiting for these last bits of grain to colonize so i can spawn them....But it just doesnt want to go...Jars feel kind of warm as well...

Looks bacterial to me, probably prep'd the grain too wet but that doesn't mean it won't produce mushrooms. Those grains could be colonized on the inside, myc probably won't grow over the outside of them where the wet spot is touching the glass. In other words, that's as good as it's going to get go ahead and use it see what you end up with.

You are correct! These grains were a bit wet when i did the transfer!! Wow I am very impressed...I will go ahead and prep the substrate...

Been there my self my man, starting out I prep'd my grains too dry overcompensated and prep'd them too wet for a while. Finally got my prep down for the grains I use to where they look dry on the outside and colonize great with no issues. Upping my PC time to 2 hours helped with my bacterial issues with the grain I use as well.

Eveery time before this batc, I waited for them to dry completely, but on this batch i was rushed and didnt allow the grains to dry completely after the boil...I did two hours on my next two sets of jars and they were both ried properly. So I should be good to go going forward!! Thanks alot brotha!
