Thoughts about letting oats germinate before pc

Ok so the reason we soak or boil is to allow the grain to hydrate and endospores to germinate a bit right?? Ive let jars sit a few days before throwing them into the pc i just cooked an extra thirty minutes and lost track of those jars with the rest never saw an issue ... my question or thought is wouldnt allowing the oats endospores to actually grow so that way there is a higher chance of better sterilising? Such as the endospores are mature enough to actually be totally wiped out? Or am i just too high. Makes sense to me but i wanna hear what the issues would be on this

Ya i mean mine had a white fuzz it wasnt thick what so ever and after the pc it was definitely unoticeable the reason i say oats rather then with wbs is because if the fermintation and actual sprouting of grain i did that my very first time kept shit in the fridge after soaking and just tossed them

Both work fine. Endospores still die either way. But increasing the number a head if time has no purpose. I have fermeted grains in a bucket for two week then pc them and got results. Looked awful but worked. Boiling oats or other grains vs soaking is a choice for what you going to be using them for. For li inoculated grain jars i just soak 24 hours because li adds water to them anyway plus you get more grains in each jar. If i boil oats to full water contain you can get away with 5 dry quarts for 14 jar bacth. When soaking you got to use 7 to 8 dry quarts.

I boil my oats and get 10 wet for 5 dry.... this is a question about if it was possible if allowing the grains to start showing growth of bacteria, then pc to better the chance of actually sterilizing the grain... i guess running a pint right away and letting a pint sit for a few days then see which one sits the longest without shit growing on it would be the best way of finding out

Sounds like a terrible idea to me
-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

Ya too be honest after sobering up i thought so to haha i remember talking to pasty about if there is a way to get grain totally sterilized and he said aloha has a big ass pc that can hit 60psi and they can get shit 100% but i was thinking for some reason that allowing the spores to mature a bit it would kill them off alot better ...
