ID Request: Psilocybe semilanceata batch
    #23722331 - 10/09/16 01:50 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

I've got these pictures posted in the UK thread too, but hope that a separate ID request is okay. If not, do let me know and I'll remove this post.

The ones that I'm not sure about are the following:
A5, A23, B6, B10, C2, C7, C14.

Thanks

The shot makes it hard to pick out anything. C14 is unidentifiable and C2 not in focus (but the stems are consistent) the other Cs look fine. B6 is hard to tell but again consistent (and the shadow suggests an umbo), & might question A2 and A18 but idk. Others look fine.

Thank you for your post and sorry about the dodgy photos. I think C14 looked better when I picked it(!) but I'll ditch it anyway along with B6, just to be safe.

Promise I'll work on my photography for next time - is it the view "from above" that makes them harder to identify?

It is having a lot in the shot that makes it hard to show hi-res detail and with any useful depth of field, but since we are very familiar with the species in question and your shots aren't awful it is not as big an issue as it can be.
