He just doesn't want anyone to read what you are saying and feel like they've recovered from opoid addiction or rationalize to themselves that subs don't get them high.
it's also very true that pharmaceutical companies lie about suboxone dosage. Many people could start their taper at 4mg or less. I was stable on 2mg when i switched over from heroin, and i was definitely getting high off the suboxone.
The other day i did .1 of some tar, and it was pretty good stuff, and i swear it didn't get me as high as 3mg of suboxone would. It didn't last as long either.
To be honest there are a lot of times i think it would just be easier to get back on dope and quit by tapering with that just because suboxone WD is so fucking damn long. I am definitely not going to try it though because i am so close to getting off subs anyways and am scared of the idea of going back, and im probably just rationalizing my addiction anyways.

Have you tried using kratom to taper of the subs?

The best thing at the end of a taper, IMO, is low dose codeine. Try going from like 1mg suboxone to 1-2 codeines in 24hrs. You will get adjusted to the codeine and wd will be much easier. Tried and true, it works. Try it. Codeine becomes your main opiate, and you get used to the low dose
That way, buprenorphine's longer wd is not what you will be feeling. As long as you have stabilized on the low dose of codeine (totally doable once youre down to 1mg, even 2mg is possible). I wouldnt switch to dope (or oxy, hydro, any other full agonist really. You might be able to do this with tramadol but not gonna get into that here) because i feel it makes much more sense to wean to a less powerful opioid. *personally* i have found full-agonists harder to wean than bupe, perhaps due to their usual short half life.

The whole suboxone bupe + naloxone thing is also BS, No matter how the suboxone is taken the naloxone does nothing becouse the Bupe has a higher affinity for the receptors.
i rember paying better than 500$ for my suboxone script at the pharmacy, but the generic would have cost about 40$ . and insurance does not cover it (at least they did not years ago) at prices like that it's just as cheap to do dope. the dr. appoint cost 600$ with a 800$ by monthly drug test 9at that was the cheapest around).
I agree without any tolerance bupe will get you high for about a day and a half. it's a beautifull thing, But does have the celling effect which makes it very safe.
