Blank grain jars been sitting in sterilizer?

Hey all
So I sterilized a round of quarts for grain masters and some shit happened , got depressed and abandoned it. Left them in the sterilizer maybe 2 weeks now (or less). They're sterile, foil on, haven't opened the PC etc.
I sometimes sterilize jars to use thru the week but this is longer than usual.. but they're in a clean PC
So should I use these? Maybe just not as masters for G2G?
Silly question maybe

Would the moisture content go off after a few weeks?

I would think that because they were still closed up in the sterilizer (and with foil still on no less) that the moisture should still be good.

Surprised no one mentioned bacteria.
Around here we always here that sterilized grain isn't really sterile and that's it's only a matter of time before bacteria start to multiply in the grain. The longer the grain wait around after sterilization the more time for bacteria to grow.
I'd be curious to know if you start getting bacteria before full colonization.

I guess I'll also add that I 100% think those jars would be fine other than the bacteria threat. I don't think mold or moisture are a factor here.

This.
This is the reason I use my blank jars ASAP, usually make them right as I need them but up to a week tops. Thats why I wondering if its worth using these- probably not going to use as grain masters.
I wonder if it would be ok to run a short cycle on them, 45 to 60 min or so?

If you re-PC them, you'll lose a bunch of moisture. I guess there're just too many factors to make any definitive claims here, Mush.
How much do you really stand to lose by just trying them? Visually inspect them all first, of course. I'd take a look before making a decision.

Well I hope you are going to inoculate them and find out how it goes!
