Think this one would be an easy one.

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
found it growing in a christmas tree lot in New Brunswick
Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
light colored
Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Scaly looked like a pineapple tree depictation only white.
Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Yellow with oat meal looking scabs.
Spore print color:
Very important!
too young to harvest if it is what I think it is
Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills. I am more interested in info as to how to properly harvest it if I decide I like it later.

Please post a photo of the stem, gills, and base.

Your statement, " I am more interested in info as to how to properly harvest it if I decide I like it later.", doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

If you decide you like it later?  You don't know what it is.

This is an Amanita, possibly in the muscaria group variants, but there are identifying features missing.  Please post more photos if you have them.

I read a few articles that suggested after you pull it out you should feed the mycelium? spores are coming out whitish.
