I love living up north, and cos im sooo lazy on my days off i can go to chippy and buy a cooked rag pudding 
Rag pudding chips peas and gravy nom nom nom ^_^

Before i obliterated it hahahaha

Rag puddings are beautiful!! My grandma wont eat as theyre suet and she doesnt like it lol.

I dont think it something they have down south so yh a northern dish, old school food, traditionally people make it at home, wrap in a rag and boil it, hence - rag pudding 
Theyre yummy. Filled with meat and gravy and stuff :p

So a bit like an individual serving of a steak and kidney pudding. My old mum used to make a familly sized version in a big bowl. My favourite as a kid.
But, fuck my old boots. Stingy buggers with their chips up't north though aint they. What they charge you for that? My local chippy serves a potion of chips big enough that my daughter and I split one between us. She always likes to get a chip supper, pie an' chips, when she comes home. Where she lives in London, you can get food from all over the world, but not a bloody chippy in sight.

Hahaha chippy near me gives far too many i only put half on the plate, they do charge a lot, was £4 but maybe more cos i make wm do my peas and gravy separate
