Test it, spray a bit of the fluff area with h2o2 solution. If it fizzles and goes away it's cobweb. If it is, spray the rest of it(fluff area, you don't want to hurt the healthy myc)

Thank you sooo much. So it won't hurt it to spray directly on the fruits?

I'm worried after reading threads that it could be trich. Will spray with diluted hydrogen peroxide asap

Avoid spraying the fruits with h2o2. Did it fizzle away when u sprayed it? If it didn't, it's not cobweb. Trich is granular looking like fine white sand. Doesn't look like trich.

Yes it disintegrated when I sprayed it. Had to spray those two fruits, so I lost em. Fingers crossed the others are okay. Ton of pins- like 20. Holding my breath and thinking good thoughts.

Those two will probably abort but don't chuck them. Aborts are usually more potent than mature fruits. Cobweb is the only contam we can eliminate. Some others can be slowed with salt paste but that's not necessary here.

Yeah they can, if you added your contaminated spawn. But those contams occur naturally anyhow.

Outdoor grows definitely can contaminate. Green mold to cobweb to lipstick mold etc. Higher likelihood not to contain though as nature battles it out
