I dont think he's necessarily wrong. The election was clearly rigged from the outset. Bernie didnt lose because not enough people didnt vote for him, he lost because they manipulated votes in states that were on the fence and rigged up the delegate system to decimate him from the start. Maybe it is time to

At this point, for Trump to lose ONLY because of a lack of votes in an impossibility. Sure, it could be one of the MANY reasons, along with media-Clinton collusion and voter fraud

So Trump not appealing to voters is a hypothetical, but the media, polls, voting machines, and god knows what else all violating federal election law to thwart him is a definite fact.
Ya see? This is why we cant have nice things.

Makes sense to me. Their money is largely his money. And I imagine that there are legal issues involved in donating to his campaign that aren't even worth the negative press or the possible court proceedings. Seems like a legal gray area, or possibly entirely illegal.
And I'm not surprised they have donated to Clinton either. Trump has as well, and she was a senator for NY where a lot of them are from.

The Ecstatic said: Fair enough. But I gave webby an out pages ago.
I told him if he could simply acknowledge that Trump has flaws it would do wonders for his credibility.
Thats the main rub, here. We all know Hillary is a bullshitter. Thats been conceded by nearly every liberal on this forum for a while now. But Trump supporters dont seem to have any kind of introspection whatsoever.
Every Trump scandal seems to be a MSM manufactured hit piece, and every Hillary scandal is 100% proven fact. Wheres the grey area (or matter)? Every single Trump thread turns into a "but what about hillary, and also Bernie is a sell out."
Non sequitur after non sequitur. And more often than not they cant even keep their conspiracies straight.
Is the media rigging the polls? Why would they do that if their slant can influence people into voting Clinton? If the MSM can manipulate popular opinion, why would they need to rig the election?
Zero clarity.
I'd agree, supporters of Trump have painted him with a aura of near perfection to the point of forgiving every proven fault, disputing every unproven one. But there have been some who've done the same for Clinton as well. Perhaps not as widely, but I've seen it in person and on here at times. Most of the time it's been a completely passive acceptance of Clinton though. Occasionally it's been aggressive. With Trump it's typically aggressive.
Neither are wrong in their approach if they believe their convictions, and I feel like most people can tell when they are arguing bullshit sides they don't necessarily agree with because they are making concessions to the larger picture of their candidate of choice.
As for media rigging - I personally believe the media has a lot at stake during elections, and that (psychologically) rigging influencing an election is not only within the realm of power they can use as members of their position, but that their position demands it to the end. Manipulation of popular opinion is the same as rigging, it largely depends on your semantic opinion of the words you're using. If you control the conversation, you have a larger stake in the election than those without as much voice. It's not something that will ever be fixed either imo, it's just a reality of the world we live in. Media will always guide the conversation.
And those in power will always use their power to extend their power into the future. The smartest way to do that is to create opposing sides and manipulate the ideas within each side.
That's where I differ from a lot of Trump supporters though. I think he's a plant myself, though I have no evidence of that and may very well be wrong. I'm unsure of whether or not he understands that he is a plant or not though if I'm right. Regardless though, I personally believe the election was "rigged" before it even began in a way, in that Clinton has largely been the presumptive president in everyone's minds for years now, and election rules, delegates and media influence has already been set in a way that will allow her easy victory, with control of congress as well, and with a lot of room to affect supreme court decisions when she assumes the role.
A lot will change in the next fours years, for better or worse depending on your opinion of things. But there will not be the stalemate there was in the previous 8. The game's been won (for the democrats) for the foreseeable future.

Yes, it's a hypothetical because the vote hasn't happened yet. And yes, the other factors are definite facts because now we have evidence that proves that it's already happening.

Exactly. Meanwhile Clinton can only fill a tenth of a high school gymnasium. Do you remember that rally in Ohio right after one of the debates? The media proudly proclaimed her momentum was unstoppable and it was exemplified by the HUGE 18,000 PERSON RALLY she had. Turns out is was just barely 3,000. The media is rigging the election in her favor.

Even Fox News is rigging their polls in Hillarys favor.

The Dissent is always louder and more involved as a rule. Despite the game being rigged (I agree that it is whole-heartedly), I think that's it's been rigged as a measure of safety (as the investment of time, resources and build up of influence has been enormous, possibly more-so than any president in the last half-century), and that she could have won fair and square (albeit a closer match) without doing so.
If election rigging is discovered, nothing will be done about it. There will be no impeachment proceedings, and no accusations from the Department of Justice. The Supreme Court will be completely in control. All bases have been covered if rigging is the case.

My question is for both Webster10 and The Ecstatic:
Regardless of the current rhetoric, would either of you name one positive thing that you respect in one another?

This is why you are perceived by everyone to be so politically naive... you think that the size of your crowd translates into votes. Sarah palin drew huge crowds too. How'd that work out? You probably don't remember because you were playing with your toys.

It certainly is indicative of the enthusiasm of your support. I never said it translates into votes though. That's why you're perceived by everyone to be less than smart. You make shit up out of no where and then try to argue about it.

Sarah Palin lost because she's Sarah Palin. Bernie Sanders lost because of the super delegate system, gerry mandering, vote manipulation, and media manipulation.
