http:/ Yesterday i found a beautiful gymnopilus luteus for the first time, and today i went back to the same log and peeled back the birch tree bark (with ease) to uncover premature pins of gymnopilus . I could tell because of obvious bluing. I want to go back tomorrow and check on the pins.... unfortunately i disrupted the habitat when i peeled back the bark, Have i stunted the frowth at all?

you couldn't even wait two hours for a response to a dumbfuck question Mad bro? Your lack of patience shows you have some serious frustrations about YOU not knowing the quite obvious answer

Dude, posts can go for days on here before someone with the relevant knowledge comes along. A 2 hour wait for a reply isn't too bad.
As for your question, maybe. At the pinning stage the mushroom will be more sensitive to changes in environment so it could stunt it or completely kill it, but really the only way to know is to keep an eye on it.

Bitch ass nigga. Yo ass didn't ask but 1 question "Have i stunted the frowth at all?" Not you have not stunted its frowth at all since that is not a word. You probably did not stunt any growth of the mycellium but you severely fucked up the pinning. Perhaps they will continue to pin right away or maybe not.

With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.
