What in heck are you even trying to accomplish here?  Are you trying to put spores to dirty wet cardboard and expecting it to grow mushrooms?

Unless you live in like... Some embargoed country, you can probably order a spore syringe or print from the Internet.  You know, so you can look at it through a microscope and compare it with the spores you obtain for cultivation.

Not that I'm suggesting you do that.  But I might be.

I also might suggest reading up on how to colonize grain jars, or PF tek cakes.  Cakes seem to be the go to for noobs.

If you really can't get spores (which makes sense) and you are really serious about growing, and still have some dried mushies, get some agar and do it right.  Otherwise you are just trying to get results from a half-assed attempt that obviously won't work.  If you want mushies from dried shrooms you're gonna have to work.

If when you get some agar your best bet is to try to get spores from a dried cap.  Feel free to look up a method of doing this, it's easily found.

I encourage you to pick up some readily available agar if you are truly willing to grow and all you have to work with is dried mushies.

Or.....you can move out of your parents house.

Quit cardboard and try agar.  UTSF or check these links
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19208976

It might take some more skill than a fresh print or fruit but you can do it if you got some agar skills in a Still air box.
