15ml of spores per 8oz jar
This is bad. The mushrooms spores are collected from are grown in open air. Open air has all sorts of nasties (mold, bacteria, yeast, etc.) The more spores you use, the higher likelihood you've just introduced contaminants.
You can literally use less than a drop: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Number=23645997
Not to mention that's quite a bit of liquid you're adding to the media.
Also https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21365919#21365919
That is very cool. Now you got me wanting to buy a nice microscope.

Hello, Its been a few days and everything seems to be going as planned. I have been reading a lot, but I am a little confused as to what is the best next step for me personally.
From my readings I know what I will do next time differently, and already planned a much better grow. I would though still like this to turn out decent.
I will be needing to purchase supplies in the next few days and would like suggestions on where to go from here. Once the spores in the jars have completely taken over what is best to do? Do I want to try and monotub? As of now I planned on purchasing a large plastic container, and having maybe 2 smaller trays inside that I would fill. Thats another questions as I dont know what would be best mixture to use in the tubs. Since I have started with mostly grains, Rye seed and poppy seeds, I thought maybe I would continue with some of that as I have a lot left over and adding wild bird seed.
Please help me figure out my next step, as I have read a lot, though it is a bit confusing as info is mostly in English and I am not native speaker/reader.
edit- heres a current picture from this morning
Thank you.

Things have continued to go well it seems, I checked about a day ago and 2 jars were about 75% colonized around the jar.
I happen to have an old unused fish tank with grow light lid that I plan on using, I am currently making sure it is cleaned well and disinfected.
At the moment the plan is to use individual trays, around 3 inches deep each to mix substrate and the jars currently growing. I have seen different opinions but I think I will try to layer it in the trays, with substrate on the bottom, then the grains, then substrate, etc, ending with a top layer of substrate.
I will use some sort of plastic such as garbage bags to use as a liner in the trays since I have read this in many guides. I do not know yet if i need to put foil over the trays at first, as I have read many guides and have read different techniques.
I think my aquarium will work well as it should keep the humidity high and the built in lid/grow lights should work well.
Any tips or know of something i am forgetting, please let me know.
Thanks,

What about FAE? Don't say air stones it won't work. You want a plastic tote/storage box. Id suggest a sgfc you've come this far at least fruit them correctly. If you build an sgfc make sure you follow the tek exactly don't modify or cut corners, they cost fuck all to build and work great so there's no excuses. You could use the light from the fish tank. Here's the tek https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20195542#20195542

Wow I always have to google so much, Americans just love 3 letter acronyms. I think the air exchange will not be a problem as the lid of the aquarium has a section that lifts open where you would feed this fish. I will keep this area open by taking off the flap and covering the long gap with hepa filter covering.

I'm english not american lol and I linked you the sgfc tek so no googling needed . Dude its up to you I'm giving you the best way but I can guarantee you will be back asking what went wrong if you go the way your planning. Bodhi would best to speak to as he has a holeless tub tek but he is very experienced and I'd imagine he would advise against what your purposing.

can you give me a reason why that would not work? Instead of just telling me to do it your way? Your comments have been not useful anyway so far, as you were not even aware that jars could colonize that quickly until someone else corrected you.
Edit - Never mind found plenty of guides on how to use an aquarium as a fruiting chamber.

If we explained every single time why hooking computer fans up to your shit isn't optimal then we'd all end up like me. Irritable blunt jaded assholes. Spare these people their sanity. They aren't being paid to provide good advice. If you want to find out why it's correct, read up on it yourself.

Same methods I explained but apparently its no good to him BTW staffros its not my way its the TEK it is THE WAY not MY way. Also you say I was proven wrong, I wasn't the jars that were shown were smaller than yours so faster colonisation. You still have to prove you can grow a fruit and haven't made a jar of mold your last pic looks odd but what do I know

Why would anyone who speaks even half decent English need to browse forums of a language they don't understand to get information about growing illegal substances?

Also probably did not explain the usage of needles/syringes well enough, please forgive English is not first language (Japanese).
And why will it not work? It is already working.....
Room temperature is probably fine, especially for personal use.
