Possible psilocybe species?
    #23711301 - 10/05/16 08:12 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
Found growing under a small deciduous tree in a bed of mixed alder, ceder, et. woodchips.
Gills:
Light brownish carmel almost same color as the stem

Stem:
Hollow, no noticible bruising, rhizomorphs at the base

Cap:
Carmel color with a lighter colored ring you can notice around the edge of the cap.

Spore print color:
did a very quick print from when I found them on my lunch break, I let them sit on a napkin in my car while I finished the rest of my class. From what I could see they were a greyish color

Bruising:
No noticible bruising on any specimens

other information:
Funny enough, I was hawk eyeing the woodchip bed in one of the gardens at my college campus and came across a few mushrooms that seemed to resemble a cyanescen. After picking 2 of the larger ones to get an ID request, I noticed there was no blueing to them so I dont think they are cyans. Maybe a possible other species? They are all the same species and were growing in a gregarious cluster of 3-4 mushrooms.

Its easy to forget about the world; outside of the town. Feeling free with no rules in the sea, but even fish eventually drown.
