My license number
    #23710472 - 10/05/16 04:36 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

I'm kinda torn, torn within a question that is my license number. I have seen other people with license numbers and over all they are random as fuck, but my license number is 3 numbers.

888 886 066 and I don't understand how this is. I look at signs look at the world around me and find strangeness within it, but this one thing that is my license number is bizarre to me.

besides for 666 being within the number it is freaking me out because I know that your license number is not going to be anything synchronous like mine.

Can someone tell me why my license number is so strange?

In some states, your driver's license number is numerically encoded personal info, usually based on your name and date of birth.  You can google this for your specific state.  It's really not something sinister.

really, that's cool, didn't think it was something sinister. Been looking at other peoples licenses for a while though and they are always just random numbers. Never come across one as unique as mine.

More interestingly than that is that my date of birth and name have importance to me, which actually makes this even cooler.

Thanks burke

Your license number is strange because you perceive it that way. You believe it's strange, so it is. That's why.

That'll be $200.00.

hmm, this is interesting to me, maybe it isn't the 6's that interest me though, it is the 8's.

does anyone have a bunch of 7's?

Are u related to the Devil?

My licence number is way shorter than that OP, yours looks like a late nite phone number. Very confused.

Right, one seven

I have been looking at license numbers for a while now and I always see a seven and a bunch of numbers which are random. Now I believe burke when he says that, but how in the hell can you have a license number like mine.

If someone comes into this thread with a license number as strange as mine I will let it go, but in all honesty, don't think it will happen.

My home telephone number used to be a palindrome.  I remember learning about what a palindrome was in like 3rd or 4th grade and flipping shit about it.  Still kind of interesting to me but now I realize that it's just basic probability.  It only seems weird because it happened to you, if you saw a list of all the license plate numbers or telephone numbers with the weird ones highlighted, it wouldn't mean shit to you because it makes perfect sense that they exist at the frequency that they do.

If it is a random number picked by a computer, you must know that a computer doesn't register "666" and other things humans might pick up on as being any sort of strange number sequence.

Wait, so you posted the actual serial number from your driver's license here? Why would you do this? Just doesn't seem like a very good idea.
