Well. It's a psilocybe. I don't know if fall ovoids have such beefy stems, and saucer caps. It might be a cool looking cyan. I'd expect to have ovoids fruiting with 3 or 4 together like you do though.
If they stink they're definitely ovoids. Those things really let you know when you're dehydrating them. People find patches by smelling them first. They're just constantly rank smelling.

Did you find those in the same area as the ovoid you posted about a few days ago here?

I'm not quite an ovoid expert, but I'm pretty sure those are ovoids. I think I can distinguish a barely visible annular zone on a couple of the specimens, or I'm seeing shit. I don't know.
OP, do you see any sort of partial veil/remnant on these in person, similar to the one you found in your other thread?

These ones shrunk quickly and didn't have the veil like the lone ovoid I found not too far away (hundred yards or so) the prior day.The blue bruising is really pronounced and the spore prints arw a deep purple/blackish

Those are ovoids....IMO ovoids can look a lot like subs. You can def. tell by the smell for sure...they are pretty unique in that category.

Agreed! I usually smell them before I see them. I'm not used to seeing ovoids with dark/red caps and it threw me off. There's so many types from around the world being intentionally spread in the PNW area that I'm less sure of exact ID every year

I wasn't picking up on any distinct smells with these, maybe because they've dried already? I left some in the patch because they were to small and will try to get back to the spot and smell them to update.....
Maybe they are Psilocybe Allenii and the wetness changed the color (this was suggested in a PM)?
I'll try to get some more pictures and update soon

You have cyans there. They are more dome shaped when they are exposed to the elements. If it were allenii the gill spacing would be different. In my limited experience with them I find the gills to be further spaced apart and longer, as far as distance from the top of the cap to where the edge of the gill is exposed to the air. The lack of an annulus and cap color make me sure it isn't an ovoid.
