Cloning a mystery + FAE help?!?

Howdy Folks. I cloned a korean market oyster mushroom back in the spring that I thought was unique due to a slightly larger and puffier stem. TBH I have been struggling with bacterial stuff in my grain jars and possibly during inoculation as well. These bags developed this yellow jelly after colonizing and never so much as pinned in my chamber after a few weeks. I just checked them today and look what happened! I live in Texas, it's been 90 degrees out the past few days and not colder than 70 at night.
Now, how do I get this to happen in my chamber? I'm thinking more FAE...
Anyone venture a guess as to what this is? This steam is meaty!

Here's a king growing to get a sense of what my FAE is like in my chamber on the bottom shelf.

That top pic looks a lot like a xmas gift I got of spawn. Exactly
I would say temps are high causing sweating. Possibly other unsterile methods.
Did you clone to agar and how did that look?

Starch is not a good medium to transfer a clone. Oysters will win at digesting cellulose. So try cardboard, enriched paper, sawdust or sterilized dowels.
Checkout my antibacterial tea slurry.

It's not even sweat, it's like a gel!
It took a few transfers to clean up, but ultimately I got to a plate that I thought looked very uniform in appearance with no discoloration on the agar. I made a number of slants from a clean plate. I have to pour some more plates today and will start over from the slant and roll from there. I am very intrigued about this mushroom as the steam is so meaty.

I have tried sawdust clones in the past and my results have been very hit or miss. I will try again with this sample that I picked today. My substrate was an enriched sawdust, so a clone line should have a head start on that medium.

Probably a heat problem. I do not know of strains handling heat more or less well.

Did you happen to get the clone from HMart? Their oysters are grown with less FAE than oysters need to be fully realized - looks like the same thing is happening here. What do you do for airflow?

I would agree that does look like bacterial goop. I can also vouch for ferathers tea tech. I did something similar with agar to help knock back bacteria to clean some mycelium and I'm seeing very promising results. You can also use the tea to soak your substrate.

I did not get them from HMart. The mushroom on the yellow bag fruited 100% outside open air, under the eaves of my house. The 1 inside the chamber is a king oyster. My airflow for my chamber is a bathroom exhaust fan on a speed controller. I have it running 24/7 and set as high as it can go without overpowering my 2 ultrasonic humidifiers. The humidifiers run just about every 4 minutes out of 10-12. There is constant air blown in through a bucket swamp cooler with a dampened cpu blower fan.

I definitely agree that those bags were sick sick sick! I will try the tea tek next time I make up bags and do a side by side trial.

Hey MorePies, Mother Nature knows her stuff...what's the low temp in your grow chamber? It may not be getting cool enough in there to trigger fruiting. Should probably be around 70F or even lower for certain oysters. Pretty sure kings like it even cooler.
