What species could this be?
    #23710185 - 10/05/16 02:44 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.mixed forest in clear spot with little over growth. found in a rarely used road in the water channels as it run down the hill.

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Light grey darkening from the stem outwards as species age adnete
Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
3-6 cm long 1-2 mm thick(1-2 in. long 1/8in max diameter.) solid will bend almost 90 degrees before it does snap white at the top to a red toward the bottom.
Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Nice deep tan to walnut color many having two tone color. most caps are bell shaped but some open up and do have a wavy cap( about one in 200) most are bell shaped with edges turning toward stem in maturity. 2cm across is largest cap I have found so far most are about 1 cm or less. I suspect growing in a gravel road may have stunted their growth.

Spore print color:
Very important!
Purple
Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
just turns dark unable to tell any blue color just that it does darken up where damaged
Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills. strong odor not really a mushroom smell but kinda offensive in nature. especially in some of the dried specimens the ATVS had broken over.

yeah I found you had to left click the photo icon and select open in new tab top view image. I am currently debating Psylocybe Quebecensis as a good possibility.

There, I fixed your images, these could be Galerina or possibly a Psilocybe species like P. pelliculosa or P. silvatica, take more photos clearly showing all parts of the mushrooms.
