Is Bridgessi cactus worth the extra money?
    #23708591 - 10/04/16 11:49 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

I've always used San Pedro, but I am thinking about ordering some more cacti and am I am wondering why the Bridgessi is so much more expensive?

It's known to be more reliable with potency vs PC pach.

For fat cuttings for a good price check hit up TheMallacht   16$/foot

Yeah bridgessi is reported as most reliable potency wise, but hey peyote if you always had san pedro, and you try one, id love to hear your comparison, as ive only tried bridgessi

Supposedly bridgesii has more consistent results. It has a broader spectrum of alkaloids, including MAOIs that potentiate the mescaline and could potentially add a different flavor to the trip. I've never bothered with pedro but I can say that bridgesii is pretty fantastic.
Let us know how they compare.

I'd say any of them are worth the money considering how long they take to grow, and the unconditional love they give to their handlers..

How much more are they btw?.. I too have used San Pedro only, got a few of them growing as well, I'd love to grow some bridgessi.

Just curious, have you always ordered your san pedro or do you get it from stores? I bought a san pedro cactus at a plant store and its been sitting in my back yard for a couple years now. Would it be worth trying to make tea out of it? Its well over a foot in length.

I have called every single store that sells plants in my area and none of them carry San Pedro so I've always ordered them. I have some growing now too but I don't want to chop them down.

A foot of pach is a nice ride. I would never eat a foot of bridgesii. Id sooner eat 45g of fresh Mexican cubensis again. And that ain't happening anytime soon lmao

Remember to take the diameter of the cactus into consideration aswell.
As a foot of 6 inch is double a foot of 3 inch

A two to three inch piece of the one I have even tho skinny gave me a nice mdma type high. 5 to 6 times that strength I think would blow me away lmao. Maybe ill try it one day I never thought id eat 7-10gs of Liberty caps, but I have so only time will tell. I've only had 4 cactus experiences and over 30 mushroom ones, I suppose you gotta get used to the buzz before u push the boundaries.

Ive only had once, but was best part of two feet, was i think 46grams dried material. Mescaline is very forgiving and gentle compared with other things. I had an amazing evening, didnt get too much or anything during it was beautiful, just right

Try asking for trichocereus instead of san pedro.
Most cactus grower i know try and avoid drug people.
But once you get an eye for it, they are pretty easy to spot out while your strollin through the nursery.

Also i ate 2 foot of bridg one time.
Blew my fucking mind lol

Yes, I prefer the trip. Only done SP once, but I found that trip less colorful and more sedative.

Bridge and Pedro have a noticeably different feel to them. We're talking about plants here so there is always variability. But generally speaking Pedro is calm, positive, relaxing, uplifting, etc. It has "good energy" and a positive vibe. Bridge is different. There is a stormier, more intense energy to it. Pedro feels like you are still in control and enjoying a very pleasant ride. Bridge takes control and goes in whichever direction it wants... sometimes fun and uplifting, sometimes dark and scary. Bridge is a more powerful experience most of the time. Or so ive heard i have no first hand experience.
