Alan thank you very much for your help in identifying!
Should it be further analysed for possible toxins or it is safe to consume? If I find them next season I can share some spore prints.

Everything in Psilocybe is safe to consume. These have rusty spores because they are missing one of the pigment chemicals. Dark spored mushrooms produce several pigments to block UV light, and occasionally one of them is not produced, giving an unusual spore color. It would be interesting to see if fruits grown from these spores have normal pigmentation.

Thank you!
I've found them along normal colored serbica so I guess it is not environmental issue. Are there some references of similar mutations in other Psilocybe species in nature? I could find only "Redboy cubensis" but I guess it was lab created.
What is proper term to call this? Variation? Mutation? Does it deserve a nickname?

The reddish P. serbica print was put on agar and transferred to grain, then mixed with wood chips in a plastic tub that had holes drilled in it. Saw some fruits today, I wonder what color the spore print will be.

Interesting and nice pics Alan, the pin in the third image has the macroscopic characteristics of Psilocybe allenii

Yea it does, I will check on it again tomorrow.
The print turned out dark purple brown.
I am going to need to do some microscopy to make sure it is what I think it is.

Interesting. Could it be that the genetic lack of color pigment only happens on occasion?

I believe so, especially if a multispore germination was used. The best way to preserve the trait would have been to take a tissue sample from the fruit body with different pigment. I think this could be P. allenii

I scoped it and you are right - the cheilocystidia is fat like P. allenii, not thin like P. serbica.
Either the labels were switched or both types of spawn were used to make this tub.

I haven't. Alan did but something went wrong. I have few fresh spore prints if you would like to try
