Is Contamination the Likely Cause to an End in Growth?

I'm still growing out some of my older, dirtier spawn that I prepared. One tub grew to about 1-2" on a fair pinset and then just stopped altogether. There has been very, very little change in about 5 days +/-. I've never seen this one before!
Surely this must be contamination. It is MS so I wouldn't suspect weird genetics.
I doubt my tubs are perfectly dialed in but I know there is enough AE and moisture for a first flush.
Heck, all of my other tubs that I've let sit long enough have pushed out a second flush with absolutely zero effort or care (which is not what I'm going for, just limited on time).

mushies can thrive like crazy. they will stop one they get sick(contam) or if they run out of food/water.
also 5 days in shroom time doesnt mean anything. as in I've sat for 5 days thinking my substrate was cashed and on day 7/8 i get a nice surprise

I think you are right about a lot of circumstances but I've been reading and growing off and on for nearly 20 years.
I've never heard of cubes growing to 1-2 inches, utterly stopping, and then resuming. I'm sure they are toast!
They aren't looking very photogenic but what the heck, this is the best camera I've ever had in a phone so why not use it:

Yea even if that was healthy it wasn't going to do well. Those conditions look harsher than forgetting to put water in your bong

As always, thanks for the feedback!
It may easily have been more than 5 days. I've been focusing on learning a new career. Also, the humidity has been noticeably lower here for a few weeks.
Certainly, things are too dry but I have two other tubs going just like it. One is pushing out a second flush, and the other seems to be pushing out a fairly healthy first so far. This is also following about 6 identical tubs that did fine considering I haven't misted any of them whatsoever.
As I have been trying to do set and forget, I've been thinking about running a humidifier for them. It probably wouldn't be bad for myself either at this RH level. In fact, I've bought one and haven't set it up yet!
I tried to make my AE proportional to some tubs Pasty was using based on vent surface area vs tub volume but I may have overdone it a bit for our RH levels. This is an easy fix though--just a little more tape on the bottom holes.
