If you where offered a single one way trip, that could be used to go to any place and time past or future. but with absolutely zero chance of ever returning. would you take it? where would you go and why?

I'd go back to the day my mom was pregnant with me so I could give her a STRONG ROUGH kick in her bloated tummy for forcing me into existence.

probably back to the industrial revolution to put an end to it and all the people involved
or maybe back to the agricultural revolution to put an end to that
or maybe back to the origin point (i.e. "big bang" or what-have-you)

It depends. Is this one of those time travels where you end up in your past body, essentially letting me redo my life, or is it the type where two me's would exist at the same time? I'd do the former, I wouldn't do the latter. The "no chance of return" is the deal breaker for me. There's no time period in the past I would like enough to do that and I'm not rolling the dice on the future being any better.

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. Born is the 50's experience Woodstock and a time of legal psychedelics. Live in a time where people aren't consumed by technology. Although I would preferably have the same mindset as I do now. I don't want to fall into that heavily Christian shit that was going on around that time

But it says you have zero chance of ever returning to this time period. That means when you relive your life, you would've died by now. Just go kick your mom if it's that important to you, not worth dying over.

After a little more pondering there are a few key points in history I would try to change. For instance I would have assasinated ben Franklin.

Realistically bohdi is probably right if time travel did exist. At the very least it would have to be added to the equation.

In my limited understanding of how time travel backwards would work (not that many people really know anyways) the only way to go backwards in time would to be to punch a hole in space-time and travel through it. You wouldn't just be turning the clocks back, you would be traveling from one point to another similar to how you travel normally. The only real difference is you would technically arrive at your destination before you even began your journey.

Well we can techinally travel into the future via extreme speed out into space and back. But I personally dont believe it is possible to travel backwards.

I would memorize the winning lotto numbers. Go back in time by 1 week. Buy the tickets, then hide out somewhere until past me makes that same trip. I would then return home. Cash the tickets and continue on far wealthier than I had been.

I believe space time theory concludes that there's no difference between the past, present and future. Everything has already happened, we are stuck in a dimension that lets us experience 2016, which has already occurred.

Infinite time loop paradox. You must go back to the original moment to restore order to the universe, and continuously live out your days hopping between those two moments.

Like groundhog day? Man, I'm not sure how much fun I could have with only 18 minutes; that's barely enough time to jack off.
Mind you, if I continuously live out my days hopping between those two moments, I guess that means I could get stuck in an infinite loop of masturbation. Maybe not so bad after all...

I was trippin with a good friend a couple of years ago, and we concluded that everything had indeed already happened, we were in that place, it was extremely quiet and dead, then my friend asked me what I thought was going to happen in the end, and it was almost as if I saw a vision within the fog that was covering us of what was to come, I told him that good and evil will clash and it would end in an epic explosion. This didn't scare us tho, it actually made us smile.

Me and my cousin were trippin on teh cacti out in nature once, and then I take my phone out and take a picture, we questioned how this was possible, to be able to capture the moment in such a way, we concluded that it was because we were actually moving backwards in time rather than forward, and it made perfect sense to me..
