Cobweb mold on a cake after cold temperatures

So my friend had a cake (5x5x2 inch) on his balcony in a Shotgun FC. We were able to harvest one flush as long as september was warm, but now it has become autumny cold and, obviously because the myc's metabolism went too slow the cake caught some cobweb.
I cut the cobweb and the rotting parts away and adopted the cake, I took it in my apartment. Hopefully it will recover from the cold. Before it caught the cold and the mold it was fully colonized.
Do you think it will recover in the warmth? Will it be completely lost once it has cobweb?

We put it on his balcony first because people won't see it when they visit him in his apartment. It stood right behind the laundry drying rack.

I'm not trolling. Neither do I have a camera nor a smartphone. Why do you all seem to assume it didn't happen?... BTW the cake seems to do better at room temp, which is no wonder at all, but still...

Hm. Dude I cut away every "hairy" part (the self painted picture really looks exactly like the contam that I had) and as I expected the contam went away at room temp. Although thanks and sorry for the hassle.

I would bet money he didn't have cobweb. You can't just cut cobweb away, shit is extremely fragmental. It also would have colonized the whole cake in 12 hours tops.

Based off the crude drawing it sounds like pin mold. But I would say at this point it doesn't matter what it is. Rather what matters is it's disposed of. Never cut out contams.

I grew out some cobweb, I know what cobweb looks like and it dont look like no greys or the reptilians... ok, maybe a little like the greys because it's skinny and grey

Oh yes, it must be the pin mold.
-I found this (clear site) link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungus#/media/File:PinMould_on_Peach_LowMag_Scale.jpg This looks exactly like it. So you said it is not toxic for the rest of the cake?
-Also here another nice link on the life cycle of the pin molds http://dangerousminds.net/comments/the_life_cycle_of_the_pin_mould_time_lapse_film_of_fungi_from_1943
-here is an article about the dangers of "mucor" infections and allergies http://www.moldunit.com/mucor-mold.html
-Mold in Common: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mold
-Mucor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mucor
-Rhizopus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhizopus
-and here is a list that reads concerning mucor or zygomycete: "No species are known to produce mycotoxins." http://www.pasteurlaboratory.com/common1.htm
Thanx all! Your help is much appreciated.
