Mushroom ID please?

Species # 1
Habitat: Indoor Grow
Gills: refer to pictures
Stem: refer to pictures
Cap: refer to pictures
Bruising: Bruises
General location: Unknown where spores came from
Hello, sorry for the subtle information or lack thereof but I'm curious as to what kind of mushrooms these are. I'd rather have the mushrooms identified first and if that's not possible with the information provided then I will give more information.
Thanks a lot guys...

You guys are right. I'm just so confused as to why cubensis have such a wide range in appearance from one strain to another.
Those were all from one cake with 3 different flushes for each of the 3 pictures..
For some reason I've never been able to find another cubensis strain that looks anywhere close to these again.

Probably multiple strains that weren't compatible. Did they grow on separate areas of the cake?

Yeah I mean, I was seriously trippin out. I thought maybe I had gotten a syringe with different spores in them or something. I've never seen cubes look like these.
They look like a cross between cyans and subaeruginosa, and kinda like allienii. (however that's spelt)
Just wanted to confirm.

These are very obviously Psilocybe cubensis, op knows this because he ordered them and grew them. He then asked a loaded question to see if other people thought they were cubes without giving all that information first. Yes, he's going to catch some flack for that.
OP, next time just say "hey, I bought some syringes and grew them. They were supposed to be cubensis, are these?"
They sure are, and they look nice and fat. Good job on those. If you're doing cakes from multi-spore syringes then you are going to get different phenotypes expressed in the cakes. That's the nature of different spores coming together to make mycelium, different traits will be expressed.
Those beautiful grows you see on here where all the cubes look the same are from cultures that people have selected over time using agar and LC masters. It's one homogeneous strain instead of a bunch of different ones competing.
Does that cover all your questions?

The messed up thing is I've been growing out that said same strain from the same vendor and I've never been able to get the same results.
It's really disappointing.

Right, but unless you have been using agar to select a pure phenotype it will vary. Spore syringes have variation because spores carry different information even in types. If you're trying to chase down those results using spores injected into cakes it's going to be a long road.
Go to the cultivation forum and look up agar.
