Near Death Experience 1

I went over to see my little ginger at her work Friday, and I couldn't catch my breath. Pretty soon I realized something was wrong so she called the doctor, by the time the ambulance came I was about out of it
So they stretched me out and the medic said 'V-tac 230bmm, get the pads. They asked me some questions then next thing I know Im in the carido room Suddenly I felt real calm, I just wanted to go to sleep and everything was like dissolving, then I heard the medic say 'stay with us' So I founght, it happened 4 times, and the the medics were freaking out, they asked me if I had any pain, i said none at all, everything seemed normal.
It was a really strange sensation, I felt like I was over the bed, and I could 'see' all the emotions and good and bad things in my life. Then I was OK. The doctor said they shocked me 4 times and pumped a bunch of lidocaine and adrenalin in me.
The nurse told me later my heart rate was up to 280-bpm when they shocked me, four times. They figured out that I ad a slight ablasion on the upper part of my heart and did something, now Im ok.

That is crazy! Did the experience make you reflect on your life? To being alive!

They plug a tube up a vein in your leg to get to your heart, and use heat or cold to do a "minimally invasive procedure". So hopefully they already fix it with the something they did.

Life makes asses of us all at times we're all glad you are still around to reflect on it with us though!
Also I read some back and forth stuff about long term aspirin use awhile back, you may want to read up on it if you plan to use it daily for too long.

Great story. Sorry to hear about that though! Hopefully with exercise you can heal yourself. Prescription drugs like aspirin are bad though and there are many natural alternatives that are safer and more effective...food for thought (healthy food).

Apparently aspirin is actually semi synthetic:
Quote:
Salicin is metabolized into salicylic acid in the human body, and is a precursor of aspirin.
Quote:
In 1897, Felix Hoffmann created a synthetically altered version of salicin (in his case derived from the Spiraea plant), which caused less digestive upset than pure salicylic acid. The new drug, formally acetylsalicylic acid, was named Aspirin by Hoffmann's employer Bayer AG.

WOW! Glad you are still here. Didn't you just go through a major move/job change etc...and don't you like the cactus a lot? Can I ask your age again (if it's not too personal)? I'm 51 going on 52 in February. You partied down just not too long ago didn't you? Weird that you were really calm and felt like just going to sleep and no discomfort or pain. It is reassuring to think that if that should happen to me I might not be in pain hopefully. I did a LOT of coke, X, and speed from my 20's to late 30's. I feel like I did some damage to my heart, to what extent I don't know. I'll get a really god assessment soon though. I still like to roll and trip as well.
