"Cloning mycelium"
    #23701165 - 10/02/16 06:16 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to this website and have a couple questions/theories that I'm sure people have attempted and have answers for but I just can't seem to find what I am looking for..
So, I was wondering. Is it possible to actually "clone"/expand mycelium.. If I were to have a fully colonized brf cake of GT, cut off a healthy piece of mycelium and transfer it over into a jar with hpoo, coconut coir, vermiculite, and gypsum to fully colonize. After fully colonized, could I then repeated the same  process with that jar/cake in hopes that it will continue on and colonize another jar. Would that work? If so what issues could I encounter with this process. If mycelium can't thrive with solely those nutrients please input some things that could help a piece of mycelium continuously expand & thrive to colonize new jars.

The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

You can clone fruits, however! You take a biopsy to agar, and watch it wither and die… and be reborn on the third day. Your times may vary.
