My first clone and monotub. Clone was taken from invitro pin in BRF jar and cleaned on agar.
4.5 qt rye spawn 650g brick coir 2 qt verm 0.5 cup gypsum
09/28 After 10 days of colonizing I introduced to fruiting conditions
10/02 Pinset finally came in and beads of moisture on surface used up. This morning I misted and opened up micropore holes for more FAE.

Very pleased so far and felt the need to share with everyone. Any advice appreciated.

Nice! How much micropore tape did you remove?

I just chose the invitro pin because it was the first to fruit and hoped that the tub would colonize and fruit quickly as well. Will have to check potency after harvest
Holes are 2" and I originally had 2 layers on bottom holes and one layer on top. Took off a half a layer on all holes. (You can see in the pic top hole is half wide open)
I would have done just top holes but the bottom ones needed to be dialed in a bit anyway. Wasn't getting any rings around the holes

Looks good. Keep a close eye on how fast the tub starts to dry, if it's too rapid you might need to dial some of the tape back up. But so far them pins look happy.

Thanks pasty. Still tinkering around with the top holes here. With them half open the walls of my chamber did dry out pretty quickly. I have since made 1/8" gap between the tape which seems to hold up humidity again but going to try opening them up about 1/4" for the day.
After giving your micropore tek another read, I'm thinking if I wanted to "set and forget" my original set up would probably suffice considering my holes are 3/4 inch bigger than yours. But I dont mind misting this tub when I have to as long as it's getting adequite FAE for the pinset.

Yeah its clear thin plastic you can barely see it cause I cut it at sub height. I just finished spawning another tub and used a black garbage bag. Cut it a half inch above the sub to see if that will help this time around

Yeah but it has pins on the top too, so I guess we'll just see what happens, you'll have to let me know what happens with your black bags...I didn't have much of a problem with the white bags on my last run either.

Some shots from today I love doing a shroom photoshoot after a long day of work.

Have decapitated a few for prints. Should be pleanty more tomorrow.
Noticed that these buggers had some wicked fuzzy feet so I upped the FAE this morning. Came home to cracked caps although the chamber still felt and looked humid. Not quite sure what to make of this. Im going to assume that the fuzzy feet are just genetics and "tighten" up the holes for now.
My next tub is colonizing and I hope to have my micropore figured out by then.

Harvested today. Filled all five trays in my dehydrator The roots were thick as hell and ripped up my sub quite a bit. Hoping it wont screw up my second flush.
This is before the harvest. Didnt get a wet weight but will update with a dry
