All I was saying was 99.99% of the time I shot heroin it was exactly what I expected, if it was real heroin. I've gotten fake dope that was an RC but was able to tell the difference nearly immediately.
Its the cost of the drug, not the actual money cost but everything that comes with it. Loss of respect from friends and family and the loss of respect for yourself.
The worst part is typically speaking your aware of what You're doing but just Don't care.

Addiction is hardwired in us as a survival trait. We needed survival incentives to find food, communicate with others, have sex. Sugar is addictive, for good reason. Back when these traits developed, we didn't have concentrated piles of it. A strong desire for sugars and other food to the point of killing for it is about as old as anything.
The reason we suffer from it though is because we have found ways to stimulate the reward centers that were normally in place for regulating the drive for chemical satisfaction in much lower quantities. We've found out how to extract, synthesize and hoard a multitude of different chemical triggers that touch all of our happy spots.

Fuuuckking succinct man.
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe
