Possible p. Liniformans (B.C. south coast)

Habitat:
Found along the side of a woodland trail frequented by horses on B.C. south coast. Typical valley lowland mixed forest dominated by cedar, hemlock and alder with some maple and cottonwood at sea level. Small solitary specimen found.

Gills:
purple/grey, attached, gills.

Stem:
2 cm long, 2 mm diameter, cream color.

Cap:
1 cm Diameter, light tan color(slightly dried), smooth texture.

Spore print color:
pending.

Bruising:
darkening of the stem where picked.

Other information:
separable gelatinous pellicle. Picture speaks a thousand words.

Doesn't look like a Psilocybe sp. I'd guess something like Hypholoma/Bogbodia/Phaeonematoloma.
It will have a dark purplish to greyish-black spore print.

Did you check for a pellicle? Also, P. liniformans has a separable gelatinous gill edge, which
you should be able to remove with a needle or thin knife.
