WL Tek test on cubensis

Hi guys, I don't grow cubensis, only gourmet wood lover's. I have finished building a very potent tek. I was wondering if anyone would like to try it on a cubensis strain to see the results.
This tek is aimed at wood lovers, but in theory should work on cubensis. Here is the WL Tek, you will need to add the optional tea leaves.
Here are oyster spores which germinated in 2.5 days.

4x more aggressive than normal.

Hey Ferather, I'm getting ready to go to bulk here in a bit and was planning to use your WL with balsa, as you had suggested on gourmet.

Oh kool. Yea verm sucks, paper pellets are better, far more carbons and nutrition, holds 80% water content too. Forgot about balsa, let me know how that works out, would be amazing data.

...think it's even necessary? With the water retention of the paper, might be overkill? Although it may prove beneficial simply by varying the sub.
edit
oops...was thinking of the balsa for traditional teks...

Ferather I'm new to growing mushrooms and like the sound of your tek, no pc and looks quite easy I'm just confused on the recipe, what recipe would you use for cubes if you grew them

With added tea, to replace grains and flour, you will need a SAB or flowhood. Treat the substrate like grains, else you will get mold.
Feel free to ask any other questions.

It might be better to read this recipe rather than the WL Tek link. Add to any pellets or substrate of choice.

1.) How can a tek be "potent"?
2.)How are you so sure cubes will enjoy your substrate mix?

cubensis is a niche primary decomposer of partially digested grasses
Regardless of that the same potency is achieved growing on a multitude of substrates since potency is species and strain dependent(and by strain I mean a real genetic strain not a variety)

I believe Ferather is saying it's a potent substrate, not that it produces potent fruit. A hydroponic mushroom substrate, more or less?

Yea sorry, I failed to explain better. Lets take vermiculite and grain flour as the first step. We know what grain flour is composed of, and we know it works well.
So lets look at vermiculite, pretty void of any useful materials.
Paper pellets can hold up to 80% water content, and considerable amounts of useful materials. We can even improve the nutritional value via chemical fertilizers.
So now what happens when you use the same amount of flour on the above vs vermiculite?
I have recently re-written the Tek here for better reading. I would like to see in vitro results without starches.
This will work well with wood loving actives.
