Terrible idea. Cats are carnivores.
Plus that would stink to high hell if you tried to pasturize it.

Not a troll. What about them being carnivores is so bad. And house cats don't exactly eat fresh meat.

It has to do with the way their digestive track works.
There are plenty of other herbivore animals you can use.
The idea of using cat shit is really one of the most repulsive.

You cannot grow cubes on any predator poop
It needs to be an herbivore, rabbit deer horse cow any of these would be fine but not a cats shit.

Cows and horses eat grass and vegetation all day which is why mushs grow on their dung in the wild. Cats don't. So no. Plus cat shit is like the nastiest thing ever (at least to me) so don't try it. I have wondered in the past however if sheep and goat poo could produce mushs. Not for in home use but for hunting. Maybe someone else knows.

-------------------- The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

Oh man I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Cat shit is the nastiest thing in the world.
That's really something coming from me, I used to work a dairy and pig farm.

All right guys. I figured, just wanted to get a bit of feedback.
I will add that my cat's poop isn't very gross.

Maybe I will just become a vegan and then I can use my own poop as a substrate.

Some idiots actually feed their cats a vegetarian diet. I use to work at petsmart years ago and they really do have vegetarian cat food that is dumb expensive. I wonder how that would work. Try it OP and report back.

I hate that vegan cat food crap, cats are obligate carnivores. They can't make taurine in their bodies so they have to get it from meat. Vegan cat food gets around this by supplementing with synthetic taurine. Problem is many people see this vegan catfood and think it's ok to feed their cats just vegetables or some shit. They will become very unhealthy and eventually die if fed a vegan diet.

all cat food is supplemented with taurine vegetarian or not. I use to just feed my cats a raw food diet for a few years but it became so much of a hassle I just go blue buffalo clone from the local feed store.
