So it's looking like spraying with water and a tiny amount of everclear might have done the trick. I'm not seeing new damage, but I still see some old webbing and these very very small white spots on the stems, however I don't see any mites moving around on the webs like I did before.
Should I keep spraying them down anyways?
I want to be sure I've gotten rid of them. I'm scared to open my growbox with my hirsuta and Cathas that's in the same room until I'm 100% sure the mites are gone.

My rifat is turning around ... lots of new growth. The larger pot, new grow light and spaying the leaves now and then to help with humidity seems to be helping...

I read that Mitragynas can be tissue cultured on McCrown woody plant media. So i ordered some and some auxins/cytokonins. When i finally get my thumb out of my ass and mount my lightning fixture in the basement i can give tissue culture Mitragynas a try. It would be very intresting to see if i can pull it off. As im going to try it with cocas i might as well try Mitragynas and cacti also. I have two weeks of vacation coming up soon, then it must be ready.

If you want to try Mitragyna tissue culture I'm in contact with Darklight, I could ask her if she's willing to share some of her protocol. She's done extensive work with in-vitro kratom, and created the Rifat clone this way.

I think i can start by myself, i got the basic info. But if/when i have some results it would be fun to discuss things. Don´t think she would share her hard earned info, protocols and experience just like that, and im a newbie at this. When i have got something growing there would be a base to start talk about. Thanks for the offer MG, maybe little later on we can try.

Good luck with your tissue culture endeavors, Mateo!
My Red Indo Kratom plants are recovering nicely from the spider mite attack. One of them is already producing side branches. I gave them a bigger pot a while ago.

They look healthy
Do you use any humidity enclosure and what type of light you use? Or maybe you grow them outside?
Sorry for all the questions but you obviosly are doing things in a good way and it would be intresting to know some basic info.

No special treatment, they're in my grow tent together with other ethnobotanicals. I'm using a 110W CFL light. I forgot what specific color temperature it is, but it's commonly used during the vegetative growth phase of marijuana. There's also a little oscillating fan in the grow tent, which I run for a couple of hours every evening. I got a little bit scared reading about them being sensitive to sudden environmental changes. It's also extremely hot and sunny on my terrace, with almost nowhere to hide from the scorching sun.

I'm sad to tell you that the trifoliate Mitragyna was only a fluke, the next set of leaves just had two leaves.

Well, dont be too sad. It obviously have parts of the gene or mutation in it. Maybe later branches will give the tri-foliate formation.
My bubblerbucket Riafat in the growtent are soon a meter tall now. The soil ones sowed at same time are like 30-35cm tall. One can really see how a hydroponic setup can increase growthrate very much.

Damn. Thats a drastic difference in size. Bravo.
And that stinks Micale. Well get there one day. It has to happen, w all of us krat farmers doing our thing. The chance of a seriously cool genetic mutation will surely come to be. The race begins gentlemen. The race begins....
