Sad to hear winter took some plants for you.
But now spring will bring new lifeforce and the ones you got left shall turn into bigass trees that no winter can bring down.

But since i don“t have a big Mitragyna anymore i think i must cheat and build myself a bubbler bucket.
That will hopefully get one of my seedlings into turbo mode and i can join the Mitragyna bigstick club.
I have tryed it before and the growthrate were amazing with the bucket setup.
And i have all parts so why not.

Good luck with those seeds Lipa, i have tried those, they have good germination.

This Green Malay doesn't seem to mind being outside of its' humidity dome. It can handle 30 minutes without any leaf drooping. Big improvement since it couldn't handle 5 minutes without drooping leaves one week ago.

How slowly do y'all acclimate kratom?
I have a Pink vein indo and Bumblebee that I need to start acclimating soon.
Would like to get them outdoors in the spring before it gets too hot.

That is a big and healthy looking Green Malay seedling Micaele.
Hard to believe it was a seed big as a 3mm hair stump not long ago.
It looks very good.

Not sure if I'm doing it the correct way, but this is how I do it with my kratom seedlings. I think it'll be another week before they can handle regular humidity, a total of 15-20 days acclimating

Here we have high humidity. Its not hard to acclimate in south texas so i usually leave a pool of water at the bottom of thw tub and take the lid off partially. Then a day later completwly take it off. Just leave in the tub for thw watwr to evaporate. Then just take out the plant whenever you want. Just my experience.

I just tried to put 2 small seedlings in a bubbler bucket.

Riafat seedlings is about 5-6cm wide and i flushed all soil away from roots and put them in a slotted pot with leca.
Then put 2 of these pots in the lid of a bucket with an akvarium bubler stone in the bottom pushing out bubbles.
I have weak fertilizer in water.
On top a transparent plastic sheet rolled to a tube to maintain humidity and a 17W LED in the lamp.

Seedlings perked up after transplant.
We see how it goes.
Either it goes very bad or very good i think.
They might be too small for this.

I'm sure they'll flourish in that environement Mateo! As soon as mine are ready for low humidity, a bunch of them are going into a aerated hydroponic system aswell.

In the bubbler bucket enough humidity comes up from the wet leca balls that is surounding the roots in the small net pot.
And the plastic tube ontop will contain the moisture.
I tried this before but with bigger mitragynas and that time i got so fast growth i have never seen before.
They became to big for the humidity enclosure very fast.
I hope this turns out well, it looks good now.

Decided my seedlings were strong enough too move out of the humidity dome entirely. Tried putting three of them in a aerated hydroponic system.
Removing soil

And afterwards

You have some seriously good looking seedlings there Micaele. I have found kratom to be very easy to transplant.

:goodluck: to all.

Thanks. I do believe they weren't hardened enough though as they look very weak right now. Perhaps the disturbance of the roots combined with the lower humidity got to them.
I'll let them sit for a few days and see if they survive

Give them some extra water sprayings when you can and they hopefully adjust.
My small seedlings in the bubbler bucket have survived their first 24 hours and still looking good.
I think they will make it.

If given humidity, warmth and light they will adjust from the transplant.
Maybe you can temporarely increase humidity until they perk up and then reduce gradually?
Temp changes can make them sad also.

Is that a new clooner thing you have built Micaele?

I might put a few seedlings in my clooner as well.
They probably do good beside the Pereskiopsis.
