The reddest plant I've ever seen.. Before and after disastrously bad packaging & shipping by the ebay dude...
Hope the one on the 2nd pic will survive but it's looking compromised... At least the seller is sending me some of these red indo seeds to make up for his fuck-up
 After:

And here's the only survivor of my Red Thai seedlings (only 3 popped out of about 30 seeds, 2 died of neglect)

So it went from good to bad or are those pics reversed? Looks very good.

From bad to good, the guy shipped it like a savage, one of the two plants died already...
The first pic is from ebay, I almost think the guy photoshopped it lol it's nowhere near as red in person.
Can't see the pic but it's cool you managed to keep some hirsuta going, wish I could find some seeds or plants...

Took a mess of BB clones yesterday along with a couple Rifat, and green Malaysian. Mostly needed to trim the BB bush that's growing more out than up. Figured id try to at least root some of the smaller clippings. Hopefully I have some pictures in a few weeks of rooted plants. I should be able to get in 1 more BIG batch of GM clones rooted before the days get short and leaf starts to drop.

I also took some GM clones but only like 2 still have green on them. The rest browned all up. I didnt use any fungicide or h2o2 or nothing. I really took those cuttings in haste.
Good luck on those pinedown. Hopefull, you get a massive clan.

Damn you US guys are lucky to have all those nice clones available to y'all. Bumblebee looks really nice. Good luck to you both with your batches.
No clones available here in europe but I found a dude on reddit whose Bumblebee and Rifat trees flowered, I reserved some BB seed pods

I hope so too. Good luck with yours. After a few weeks I'll gently pull on the clone if no roots I'll inspect the end and usually it'll be brown then I cut it back to green and try it again..sometimes it works and some times it seems they are determined not to root.

I've got about 30 seeds of an unknown strain and 30 seeds of RVT being delivered to me in a 6-7 days. I'm going to try to start a few of them in a fogponic system I've built and a few in usual soil. I've got plenty of LED-strips that I plan on setting up for it when it gets a few months old. If I manage to get atleast three seeds to root, I will probably do one in soil, one hydroponic and one fogponic (until' it gets too big, then I'll do a soil/hydro combo) I'll post pictures as they grow

Nice work with that rooting method ferrel. I know krats a hardcore hydrophillic beast, but damn I never thought of rooting in it in straight water that's pretty wicked did you change the water at all?
Man I'm super of y'all working w seeds I almost landed some about a year back but guy flaked out on me. One day maybe. I wanna grow the infamous Maeng Da there's something so about those horned and spiked edges
I use to chat w a krat salesman in Indonesia who'd send me pics to make me drool. Damn near all of em were Maeng Da.

I've always wondered if the horned kratom is a genetic thing or not.
I remember reading that maeng da/horned kratom is the result of grafting and that the practice originated in one of the 1st and biggest plantations in Indonesia.
Now I don't know what they graft to or if they use a specific strain as the scion, but apparently you can't get maeng da seeds and expect them to grow horned leaves. Maybe the horns are just the result of quick growth due to the grafting, kinda like some plants put out wrinkly leaves when you're a bit heavy handed on the N ferts.
If you guys have connects in Indonesia please PM me their contact, I'd love to ask them about their grafting process, and I'm trying to find a source for bulk seeds.

I just changwd it this past week. As soon as i took off the plastic bag, the ones without roots started to wilt. The one with roots is doing great.
And seeds are where its at. I had some seed grown but due to "life" happening i lost all 3 of my seed grown. Now i have 2 seed grown, hirsuta.

I received my seeds in my mail today. The delivery time was great, four days within Europe. I got more than twice as many seeds as I ordered, I figure that either the vendor is kind or the vendor is aware that the seeds germinate rate is low. I've planted them all now. About 10 seeds in every pot and a total of 23 pots. 6 of them are Red Vein Thai and the remaining 17 are Rifat. I put 2 Rifat and 2 Red Vein Thai in my fogponic system and the rest in soil. My initial plan was to grow a few of them in my aeroponic system but due to lack of space I had to skip it.
I hope to have at least 2 Red Vein Thai and 5 Rifat seedlings in the end of next week. I can finally welcome myself to the Kratom growers club. So welcome, myself!
