Yup. A seedling. I said the same thing when I grew some from seed.

This is the same picture from 10 days ago, but I wanted to report that these plants have been sitting in 6-8 inches of water for a week and a half, they don't seem to mind it at all. The water level was about half the depth of the pots/containers. We have had a lot of rain the past two weeks so my plants haven't been able to drain the pool, yet. I bet once they are at 100% they can drain that pool in 4 or 5 days. I had to water every day last summer, even when planted in those recycling bins. I siphoned off the water yesterday just because it was becoming a mosquito hatchery. I would recommend this to anybody that may be having trouble keeping their kratom watered sufficiently or going on vacation.

I've been looking into getting my own Mitragyna plant in my country. The law doesn't seem to be very clear about growing one. It's prohibited with Mitragyna speciosa in powder form or in leaf form because you could prepare it to powder easy. I'm thinking about trying to get my hands on some seeds rather than cuttings to get them through customs easier. It seems people have a hard time getting their hands on fresh seeds, since they have to be planted within a short period from falling from the trees. I may have a vendor that is within Europe that could send me seeds. Anyone here who have started with seeds that can give me some pros and cons with seeds rather than cutting?

The thing about kratom seeds staying viable only for a few weeks is bullshit in my experience, the seeds I bought 3 months ago still germinate very well. Pros are you can get many plants going for cheap, Cons are it takes a long time to grow to the size of the average cutting.

And to everyone esle... I will probably post some pics of my not so baby babies tomorrow since I havent in a good while.
I just re-potted my oldest into a 20 something gallon pot and I still need to re-pot 3 of my others as soon as I get a chance, its crazy but the 3 younger ones are catching up to my oldest pretty quick.

Ok, well heres my thing Ferrel...
That stuff is meant for hydroponic setups and due to this its nutrient levels are rather low.
I bought some because NDstepp told me every time he uses kelp on his Trichos they bottom pup so when I saw this and the Orange lettered big box hardware store, if you catch my drift (Cant name sources), I bought it and then I got home and realized it says for hydroponic systems on the bottle, then I realized the NPK is also very low. So it left me wondering if I should just return it and source a kelp product meant for soil grows. Inhopes it would have higher NPK in turn lasting longer and being more cost effective.
What do you think, what ratios do you use it at and have you use this for cacti?

I use it all the time as part of my organic tea mixture with a several other ingredients. My plants are in a continual state of explosive growth..I'm talking feet in a matter of a couple months. I buy it by the gallon now but plan trying out making my own from fish scraps and well rinsed seaweed that washes up on the beach. I use it on my cacti every so often as well.

I also have this in addition to the kelp extract.

I use the kelp extract at what the bottle recommends. 2 tbsp per gallon. Though be careful because it does acidify the solution down to a 5 amd above I do,t really know but I got some ph strips and that's what it read it at a 5.
