Greetings from germany.
I got a 'bumble bee' that looked like that along with rust. Worm casing is your friend. Took mine over the course of winter to recoup but now it looks fantastic. I mixed some into the soil and then water it with a tea

Little update on my rifat seedlings. Some of my pots have been hit by some green slimy mold I didn't aerate my mini greenhouse enough.
At first I didn't sweat it too much but in a couple of days there was visible damage and yellowing on the leaves of the seedlings in these pots. They went from this:

To this:

So today I transplanted the biggest and healthiest ones into jiffy pellets, and tilled the soil in the infected pots a bit, removing as many bits of mold as I could. Hopefully the ones that remain in the pots will make it.
Transplanting was a lot easier than I thought it would be, the tap roots really don't go very deep at this age and they aren't too brittle. I was able to just lift up some of the dirt from underneath and get the roots unmangled and free from most of the infected soil by hand without any breakage that I could tell.

Thanks a lot ferrel, those are some very nice plants you got. Props on having a hirsuta tree, that's gotta be a rarity I've never seen those for sale anywhere, even plain hirsuta leaf is hard to find, all I see is extracts.
How long would you say the fragile stage lasts with seedlings before they take off? Can't wait till I don't have to get the pot up to my face to see my plants haha

Neither have I man. I am lucky enough to have a good friend in modern shaman. He gifted me those seeds.
Those good already. Should be no time. Hell even. Light feeding might help them take off. Hve they been fed?

Win some lose some. I lost a handful of clones over the winter as well. Honestly, I'd be more upset losing the Malaysian, since its not as common in the states. Another bumblebee may buzz his way to your garden in the near future
Man this thread has really turned into something special thanks to everyone who cared to share
Its about to rain but I'm going to try and post a flick of my outdoor garden so far. All my mothers are on the up and up.
Oh yeah.

Here is my biggest Bumble Bee. I've got a few really big pots that were previously used by a commercial grower to sell larger trees. I will need to make a platform with wheels to move it before it goes in such a large pot. I see that the tips are waking up, but no real growth yet. She'll donate dozens of cuttings in 2017.

I got a problem with my plant. It went through this HUGE growth spurt and finished outputting that new leafset (not very good looking one. One of those purple weird ones I was telling you about) but then a really big, really health looking leafset after that. And this guy grew really really quickly. I'm talking the span of like a week or a lil more. I was fuckin psyched. But since then there has been no growth at ALL. None. I've tried fertilizing too with Fox Farms Big Bloom, the plant shows no reaction. Do plants typically lose momentum after a big growth spurt? Here's a photo

^^^ That plant is about to explode with growth! IME when the leaves get larger on a small plant like yours, that means it is about to start that rapid growth that kratom is known for. It's ready for as much sun and water as you can give it, and you may as well put it in a bigger pot now. You've done really well to get it to this point so early in the season. It will be huge by the end of summer.

Looks like it needs a bigger pot. And a cloy, pot is by far the worst for that type,of plant. I'd change it.

Did not know that! From what I could remember everyone said to use a clay pot… I will transplant the guy then! Maybe that could be it. It really hasn't grown at all in three weeks probably. Maybe more.
