Here its gonna be mid 80s during the day and high 60s at night. I hate the cold.

But my novos, speciosas, A. polyphyla and the majority of my plants like this weather. No wilt at all. Even my cacao has not lost leaves and thats a shock to me.

Lucky you,it got 28 last night, and wiped out my whole garden!
All I see is a bunch of mushy tomato vines, and wilted dead pepper leaves,on the branches, when I look out the window.
Not to mention the tons of glowing red peppers that are still on the plants, and I picked all the Green Tomatoes for frying.

The Okra is all dead,Morning glories dead, but the Sinicuichi was not phased!

On a side note,I figured out the real problem with my Hirsuta.
The drainage was really bad,due to clogged tiny holes, and the other part of that was due to lack of perlite.

There was standing stinky water just sitting at the bottom of the pot,and the soil was saturated and nasty looking.

I have since repotted her in a perlite mix,but I wont post pics right now, because she looks pretty bad:sad:

Little,er,um,Big Bumblebee,is growing like a freaking champ, and nothing seems to slow him down!

Wish Richelle luck, she needs it badly:sad:

You ever do anything with that sinicuichi? I've heard both intriguing and terrifying reports but i'm always interested in hearing peoples experiences with it. Such an odd plant

Yep,I tried it,and it does work:thumbup:

Seems to be frost and freeze resist too, because we got another hard freeze last night, and they are still flourishing while everything else in the garden is totally dead!

Nice! Mind a brief description? Did you have any particular preparation method? It seems like some people experience extreme joint/muscle pains the day after though some think preparation may play a role. I'm very interested in this plant, and that it can be grown easily is kind of exciting

So i noticed my dying kratom has some white mold. Mostly at the base and in the soil. Any clue how to purge that nonsense? I was told to try dish soap. I've tried neem and cinnamon but it's pretty hard to get a good spread since it doesn't dissolve and i need systemic application. Watered it with sida acuta out of desperation. The thing is practically a stick with roots at this point. I don't have much hope for it but if anyone knows a sure and aggressive way to kill mold in the soil and roots i'd love to attempt recovering it. I really hope it didn't spread to my other plants. I moved it out once i saw it but i've had them all in a closet together. I seem to be having this issue though... My San Pedro is getting infections too. As am i apparently...

No reason to get frustrated about it buddy:cool:

I don't know anything about this plant at all,so I can't help you out.

Both are mine are growing great, and actually the Bumblebee is growing fantastic, and has totally surpassed the Hirsuta in size and beauty!

The minor problem I also had with my Hirsuta as corrected itself as well.

Instead of responding to a post someone makes diagnosing a problem that I know nothing about,I just pass it up,and wait for a more knowledgeable person to come by,and help them, which hasn't happened for you yet,but then again, not too many people grow this plant,so knowledge,is very limited on it:wink:

All I can say is good luck, and maybe a more knowledgeable person will be by to help you out:awethumb:

http://www.letmegooglethat.com/?q=How+to+insinuate+someone+is+lazy+on+the+internet
:smirk: Send me to the search page of youtube. Tell me it's their preferred method of treating mold and that it's super easy.

Anyways, appreciate it brother. I'll be fine though. My life is being held with scotch tape right now so when my plants start falling apart i freak out a bit and cling to the board for quick solutions. I absolutely don't have the focus this takes right now and wouldn't be growing it yet if not for the ban. I suppose that's my problem to deal with, so i'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best. Thank you all for the help and sorry for the apparent lazyiness

Oh,ok,it's too early:lol:

I had been talking to lipa about him posting a cloning video, and I thought that that was the link to it,but it wasn't my bad.

Anyway,no problem buddy, and yeah,I am growing the plant for the same reason, actually:yesnod:

Seeing as I don't consume any psychoactive plants but cannabis,I have really never had any real interest in this plant, until the ban came about.

I also knew that once the ban was instated that the plant would skyrocket in price,so I had to make sure I had this sacred rare plant before that happened.

Mine is just being grown to help distribute cuttings once this happens, but it wont be on here, because I don't trade any illegal items on this site.

I have never even actually tired kratom before ever, and ferrel offered  to send me leaves,a couple weeks back, which I never asked for,but he ended up not sending them anyway.

I'm glad too, because they would have just went to waste:yesnod:

If it ain't cannabis,I don't want any part of it:lol:

I'm sure you'll figure out what this plant likes and dislikes hopefully before it's too late, because I'm slowly seeing just how picky this little tree can be to grow:lol:

Yeah i have autoimmune diseases out the ass so kratom is pretty good for picking me up and getting me about my day. The ban is really a nightmare. I have interests in sustainability and community herbalism too though i am very new to the whole ordeal. So my whole thing has really been about keeping these guys alive until i can settle down somewhere with the time to tinker and figure out how to produce a community level sustainable medicine practice with all your basics and also get the best potency and growth conditions. Ie painkillers, antibiotics, antivirals, tonics, psychic healing (cactus, mushrooms, etc) etc. With the ultimate goal being to detach as much from industry processes as possible.
