Nice. I just got an indo clone. It's still small, but it seems like the leaves of this particular strain are in-between the look of a bumblebee and rifat leaf. Bumblebee is definitely a little more sensitive than my Rifats which grow like weeds!

Clone X and aero mist system Using traditional cloning methods I was lucky to hit 15% success but now I get roots on about 60% of all kratom trimmings. They can be stubborn. Much more so than cannabis

I dipped in rooting hormones.
Placed a few in cups of water.(no holes)
Placed a few in 4" terracotta pots. (with holes)
I put all the pots in a tote in a shady area with one inch of water sitting in the bottom.
Once they perked up I replaced the top of my tote with the one off my sgfc. Another week I replaced the whole tote with the sgfc. Another week I removed the top of the sgfc. The next I let them loose outside.(still in shade)
Acclimate to sun and... Crecer árboles realmente enormes

Nice Batty, they look really good! Are most of them from cuttings you did or did you buy them?

That would be interesting to see if they would take it.
So here's my new friend in a new pot and soil. The last pic is the "before" pic.
Fresh organic soil with a few handfuls of worm castings and some perlite. Hes gets 2 hours of direct morning sun then dappled shade the rest of the day. Well see how he looks in a week.

He guys i hear that kratom should grow great in FL but mine seem to be hating it. Upper leafs shriveled, looking like it needs water, lower leaf turning yellow and falling off. Threw a fresh pile of compost on the pot no help. was thinking i need bigger pot but this a 20 gal pot and i see people on here with much better looking plants in smaller pots. So far have moved it under a large tree in my yard absolutely 0 direct sun light and it seems to be recovering. She is 6 ft tall so was thinking it might just be time to throw it in the ground, but should i leave it in under this tree or move it in to the light more?

Those plants have put on lots of new growth, BattyKoda! I still remember when you were rooting the cuttings, it's not even that long ago. I'm really impressed with the speed of growth!
I think my sole surviving Kratom plant had a spider mite infestation. It didn't have any leaves and whenever it tried to grow new ones, they shriveled up and fell off almost instantly. The pest went undetected for a while, since I was thinking the plant was just not adapted yet to outdoor conditions. I have now sprayed it a couple of times with pyrethrum and it's beginning to push out new growth, albeit extremely slow.

Looks great! I put a saucer under my pots and fill them with water. I have long thick and sexy roots that come out the bottom to drink that. I'm going five gallon buckets next year. If still yellow next week I'll send you a feeding of iron to try. It will do great though!!!

When's the last time you repotted? Have you fed it? Do you have a saucer underneath for extra water? Mine prefer the shade.

Mine got mites during the winter. Neem oil treatment second and pyrethrum first ran em out. Give it time. Mine took forever to acclimate.
Thanks! I'm super proud of them. Totally did this on thier own because I have been a bad father this year. One feeding of bone/blood meal watered in with iron and the repot I posted in my grow along thread thing. Cheap potting soil/coir/perlite/worm casting. Tap water. I like to give thanks to pinedownpioneer, the excellent staff and members here at the shroomery, and my cat because she absolutely loves the trees and is always found under or around them providing much needed protection and I will also run out into hurricanes to save my plants so I get a little credit. And lastly my Irish roots for my greenthumb.

Does anyone here have pictures or any documented issues with severely root bound kratom trees? I
And or how to bring them back before they die?

Root bound? That may not be the reason why it's dying. I have a huge tree in a 30 gallon and it's flourishing. I might re-pot it in a 40 gallon grow bag next year though.
Anyone notice any issues with their plants being root bound?
post some pics Thumb so we can see what your plant looks like.
Edit : Just ordered a 45 gallon smart pot.
