Almost positive it's Florida. But possibly Hawaii.
The terrain looks like Florida to me though.

Ok I have a good problem...
This spring my one and only Mitragyna Speciosa was rather sad. No new leaves and the old ones were brittle and dry on the edges and all buds had dried up as they had started to form. The indoor dry air just about killed it off - certainly put it in a deep slumber.
I transplanted it to a smart pot about triple the size of the one it was in, I moved it to a shed with an air intake from the outside - including relatively humid air from rain and evaporation, I also sprayed the leaves daily with water. It was is under my new 630 LEC grow light. Well, it exploded over the past three months . It is probably 500% bigger. The leaves are beautiful, it grows new leaves about every three days. It is getting huge. I can’t leave it in the shed because it is below freezing all winter and I can’t afford to heat it. If I bring it inside the air is so dry. And it will probably take over the room. It’s too big to build a humidity tent for.
I guess this is kind of what must be expected when you try to grow a tree indoors! I plan to prune it a lot and to run an ultra sonic humidifier in the room where I keep it and see how she does. If it gets too un manageable maybe I can convince the municipal botanic garden to accept it into their green house...

How big is the tree?
And I'm planning on buying a humidifier this year for over-wintering my ethnos. Especially for my Kratom clones.

Hey guys. I put together a video of my kratom trees. This video shows the entire life cycle of a kratom seed pod. All the pictures used are from the last two seasons. And all trees featured were grown in the United States. Let me know what you all think.

Great video! Do you think the ants helped with pollination or did they harm the plant?

Amazing work man! Thanks a lot for the video, I've been looking for something like this for a while to see all stages of a flower & pod.

The ants definitely do not harm the plant. They love the smell of the flowers. They go crazy for it. But they are not the only ones. They bees also go after it as well. The funny thing is they are all really friendly. The bees are so mellow and act like I'm not even there. We also have frogs who like to hang out in the trees and eat the mosquitoes.

I'm currently working on a video of the different stages of leaf. Gonna be a couple of weeks before I can get to it tho. Currently picking seed pods off my tree and that is taking a majority of my time.

Thanks! I've been working on making this video for a year now. I have other photos I wanted to add but I felt at some point it just be to much. I have 15000 photos of my Kratom plants.

Some ants have been known to farm aphids on plants. Where the purposely introduce an infestation of aphids so they can harvest the aphids waste.

They protect the aphid's from predators also.
The only way to get rid of them is to get rid of the ants First.
Neem oil / hot pepper bug spray worked me me.

Thanks for the tip I'll definitely give that a try. Unfortunately where I live I can not trully get rid of them. Just have to learn to adapt.
