High, i went to the local cow pasture the other day in south florida on the east coast(just to scope things out). this was prior to any rainfall, and many of the cow poopy we were checking had little teeny tiny mushrooms on it about the size of a centimeter long, some bigger than others some smaller, they were all white in color. i was wondering if this means that mushrooms will grow there with some rainfall? and my freind also took some of this poop to his house and he waters it everyday (kinda like a plant) and he just keeps it in his backyard the shrooms keep popping up but dont seem to get to big does anyone know if mushrooms can be grown this way .
PS any help will be greatly appreciated if ne1 would like to see pics i will gladly post them upon request (i just dont have any right now)
Pics would be nice. If you want a real ID on these mushrooms then you'll need to read the forum rules and guidelines thread. As far as if "real" or active mushrooms will grow, no one really knows. It all depends on if the spores are present.
